The Brit girls of the 60's, Cilla, Dusty, Petula, Sandie and Lulu were brilliant live performers.

I was born in London in 1944 at the time when the Nazis were bombing England. This means I am now 80 years old. In the 1960's London was the hub of a new era of music with lots of new groups and artists vying for top spot in the Charts. When Cilla suddenly appeared she had a strong and commanding tone to her voice that went straight to the core of your mind and heart. This song has stood the test of time and is incorporated in my own Harmonica playing and Singing performance repertoire. I didn't need to seek out or learn the lyrics, they are in my brain today as clear as they were on the day I first heard Cilla sing it and listened to it time and time and time again. Like so many artists I knew of then, Cilla has passed this life. But with people like me legacy carrying on the singing of Your My World and giving credit to Cilla for it, means that the younger generation will get to hear and love it as I did. RIP Cilla...........you live on through my performances and will never be forgotten. Keep a place near you for me........we might get do a heavenly duet together!

There were only two versions of this song I have adored over the years....one was Helen Reddy, and the other was Cilla Black, who will be truly missed. Cilla was a superb talent and one of the great treasures of the British pop movement of the 60s.

God bless Cilla. Gal from my childhood...takes me back to a place and time....the best ever despite not having much as kids....we would all be singing her songs as best we could, or listening thanks to the one kid on the block who had a stereo....or watching on a TV that was rented and you has to put two shilling in the back slot to play ( yes that existed.) I am forever grateful for such time and for Cilla and others...always love. Never forgotten. Gal from Liverpool...gal from our streets. xxx

This is a fantastic performance from a very under-rated artist.....the BBC recently aired a compilation of Cilla in the 60’s& 70’s.....it was superb...especially a duet with Phil Everly..they sang Let It Be Me...the old Everly’s hit...it was stunning!

From the eastern world where i was brought up, this song was one of the frist few songs I listened and learned when I started listening to western music. What an unique English voice, she is a legend in the British Invasion. "You'll never walk alone", cos God and Bobby are with you now. You voice will be heard in heaven for those who missed your voice.

She and Warwick both made a hit with anyone who had a heart. But she sings it with more feeling.
