I'm like REALLY glad they remade this blaster because I wanted a really cool sniper, but the only other one was the Mega Centurion, which took Mega darts, I only want Elite darts. Thank the Lord they remade this one!
The great thing about Nerf Blasters is they are right and left handed which makes it perfect for left handed people and right handed people so you can get whatever blaster you want and not have to worry about it being the wrong hand held
And to answer your question from before... it's almost 10 years old. Released in 2006. Pretty good and the magazine (not clip, despite what your nerf bosses say) was a big deal. I had one. I remember the front gun being useless.
i can honestly say but when i found out the longshot was re released back in 2015 in the elite colour scheme it seemed much better then the original orange and yellow longshot plus considering the newest version of the longshot that can fire elite darts the original version had trouble shooting elite darts due to jamming issues this is my favourite so far and i'm quite keen on this nerf gun i have even purchased it myself off ebay for £30 can't wait until its delivered

FINALLY, Nerf made an Elite color scheme Longshot! I actually love the Elite color scheme, which is weird because my favorite color is forest green, but this is great. I am going to have to pick this up and do some awesome mods.

I'm thirteen and I just got into nerf recently so I missed out on alot of the early 2000s guns and I have really been wanting a longshot, the only thing is I didn't want to pay 90 or 100 dollars on ebay for a original and I didn't want the zombie strike because its incomplete. Thanks nerf. Guess I'm still gonna have to pay 30 dollars for a longstrike barrel.

I do have to correct you on that one part about the internals being the same. I actually have an original Nerf Longstrike and it only fires streamline darts, and whenever I try firing elite darts out of it they will get stuck in where the dart feeds into the barrel

My longshot doesn't shot as far as my retaliator, it's quite weak, is it normal?
Yep longshots are reverse plunger which makes it less accurate and efficient

Just to clarify, this isnt an Elite version. On the box it says N Strike, the performance is N Strike. It just looks like an Elite blaster.
