I would like to see more stations like Geelong all over the country. Beautiful buildings, protecting passengers from the weather, maybe even fully covered and with a cafe.
@@martythemartian99 Geelong has a cafe selling hot and cold items and drinks. Very handy when I get hungry on a run to Geelong. 👍😀
Not that great with the Diesel though, Geelong should absolutely be electrified and I can't believe the Feds havent come forward with more federal funds for it.
Great video
@@yargn3594 very happy you enjoyed the video 👍 😀
Would love to see this area under sunny conditions Mate!
Hopefully one day the sun will come out. 🤣 Hopefully the next time I video it the sun will be shining. 👍😀
Another line where it's fun to just look out the window and admire the sights. Other than the graffiti, of course.
True dat.😄
@@georgeheilman4243 👍😀
I hear one day maybe not in our lifetime the new regional link will join up with the Werribee line and electrified along with the Melton line. 🤔
@@brianmcgill7314 hmmm, one day. 🤔🤔👍
The more rail, the better.

Quick question: u know the western standard gauge line from mel to ade, is PIMPINIO part of the line? If yes where is it located between within stations? 😅😊
@@KFCBOY-nd4qg pimpinio is located between Horsham and Dimboola. 👍😀
@driver667 Thanks 😊 , I really hope for the best u can upload a video where u go beyond horsham and head towards Adelaide 😃 Horsham to adelaide
Also, does melbourne to adelaide Western standard gauge line and the overland share the same track or are they the same😁😊
@@KFCBOY-nd4qg the overland runs on the Western standard gauge line. I'd like to get the line right into Adelaide at some point. Fingers crossed 🤞 👍😀
@@driver667 😃🤞
Why does the horn make a high pitch and low pitch at the same time?
@@justinwright4833 that's just the way I operate the whistle. 👍😀
what is the meaning of the white sign with the black t on it?
@@vsvnrg3263 very basically it's a timing board. If the train is under 100kph at the board, it shows the system that the train is under control and signals may improve. Used when the train is to be diverged or stopped further down the track. 👍😀
@@driver667 , so the sign indicates that there are sensors in the area that tell the control room useful information. ive got to say, public transport that travels at the ton (160kph) makes geelong an outer suburb, not a satellite city. i used to work in melbourne with a bloke who lived in geelong and used the train to get to work and i felt sorry for him. i lived 5 minutes away. perth's new trains will do 135kmh. thats quite impressive.
@@vsvnrg3263 public transport has changed over the years. It's made the distances a lot shorter now. 👍😀
