Very natural looking. This is an old skool style. I’m not sure why tape ins replaced this when this method is tried and true and a whole lot cheaper than going to the salon. All you need is a bundle and bonding glue. Personally I hate getting the glue in my hair, so I’ve been doing quick weaves with a wig cap, but I like how this turned out.
Tape-in's were created for more movement. Attaching from both sides, makes it more seemless and easier to part. Easier to take out too. It's not as heavy as glued tracks. Lasts longer. Time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. No dry time, just press, leave it alone, on to the next. This way is quicker, but not good if you're allergic to latex. You can also statically place the hair without sewing tracks. Both ways work well tho 😊❤
Love a good old fashioned quick weave. This is how I would usually do mine but since I've discovered tape ins I don't see myself ever going back to anything else.
Absolutely beautiful! Your hair alone is gorgeous and so healthy. I am a 90s girl and this is how I add length and volume to my natural hair as well. I have NEVER had a sew in🪡 🧵 purchased bundles, etc. Thanks for sharing. 🥳 Happy New Year 2025 🎉
You can use oil or conditioner. I personally use a combination of both and let it sit for a little while like 20 mins and the tracks will slip right on off.
By placing the glue on your hair instead of your scalp, doesn't that make it harder to take out? I would think the glue would get tangled into the hair. Also do you have a relaxer?
No love, it’s actually meant to go on the actual hair not the scalp. I think this is a common misconception. I spent years putting it on my scalp until i read the glue bottle 😂😂🤦🏻♀️
@@JS-to4yu lol thanks girl that’s what I meant, can’t remember if I misspoke in the video or not! But yeah the glue definitely shouldn’t be applied directly on the scalp😊
This very temporary so you can shampoo once or twice without a touch up but it depends on your hair type typical people with curly hair don’t shampoo daily . But ultimately you can use try shampoo. I think max time this last is 2 weeks .

I was wondering about that. I don't think that glue is good for your hair without some kind of protective shield.

How do you wash your hair? How long does the extensions last? You look so beautiful wow!
thank you! I prefer not to wash my hair with this style, but the few times I have I just wash it like you would if it we're tape-ins.
Old school 💪🏽. I just wish the glue smell better .
How do you wash your hair ? or how often?

no, it slips out easily with conditioner. I also do not have a relaxer just heat damage.

Glueing the hair on the scalp will clog pores and stunt your hair growth.
I don't know how safe it is to put that glue on your scalp without a wigcap. What kind of glue did you use.???
Regular hair glue.
Hallo. How to remove the glue from your hair without a damage and with what product?Thank you.
They make glue remover or another option is baby oil but it’s super messy
What type of hair did you use.
just some old loose wave hair.
Your hair is already long 😅Will this work for people with short hair ? What size tracks ,Would you suggest for people with short hair 🤔??
I know it's a re-install, but how many bundles is this?
It’s about 2.5
@@AllThingsJessThanks so much for the quick response! ❤

How long this style last for you?
about 2-3 weeks.
