R.I.P. to Ms Taylor. She was a driving force for Trek for many years.
A Star Trek 4 reboot movie is dust in the wind.
They've been talking about making another movie for over seven years now and nothing has come of it.
And with Paramount in the process of being bought by Skydance, I wouldn't hold my breath for another Trek movie showing up for another five or six years at the very least. (or possibly even another decade)
They want a guaranteed blockbuster and Star Trek hasn't been a blockbuster IP for many decades now.
