If any Star Trek fans are interested, there is a Fan group called Starfleet International. You can google it. There's plenty of fan groups in every State, and you can join it. We have a Starfleet Academy that as a Member you can take courses and learn a lot of different topics of interest. I'm a Lieutenant with the USS Kittyhawk NCC-1659 which is in the Raleigh area of North Carolina. There's more ships/chapters in our State as well as other States and Countries. I don't think Roddenberry would ever imagine that a cannibal murderer from an alternate universe would be the lead character in a Star Trek TV series. Seems like the producers should focus less on diversity and more on what Star Trek is really about.
