I'm a very forgiving person, but this copy has too much wear. Try using a GE variable reluctance cartridge. They can make the most worn record sound acceptable.
I recorded this from my gramophone so I can't do anything about the wear but I am looking into getting a decent record player specifically for my 78s if you have any recommendations that would be great
@@Totallynotgay1Voice of Music, Garrard, and Webcor are the most likely to take a General Electric variable reluctance cartridge. Any turntable can. Since 78s are your main concern, a GE VR 1 is the least expensive. Make sure you buy a .7 mil diamond for stereo LPs and 45s.
Definitely tell this is a 1920s song, it has that "bounce" to it.
