Yer know, that first dish, the veal, let’s face it, is really a French dish - never seen that much butter and cream in an Italian dish before, even in the north of the peninsula . Still it looked great!

He cooked very well, according to both what you can see and reputation amongst cooks and real chefs. In fact, he didn't like being called a chef, because he wasn't one and knew the difference.
