🌺Aloha, I’m Katie! I'm a Filipina teen studying abroad at Cornell University. I love creating products at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and design to uplift communities I'm part of. I want to do too many things, and I want to make it all work… so that’s what my UA-cam channel is about. Join me on this crazy journey and together, we'll learn, struggle, and hopefully find the courage to live our dreams.

I’d like to have faith, but I have thoughts. And thoughts can really mess up that faith thing.
Loved this and I relate to so many things!! Releasing a video on my experience as an international student tomorrow too!

THIS MADE ME LAUGH TO DEATH LMAAAOO
Yey! Part three 🌸🥳
It's all about adapting to your new environment. It takes time but one will adjust. Best wishes! You girls look great!
how the hell do they afford those international tution fees?
@@Sanyu-Tumusiime to my knowledge if they have a scholarship or grant, it could cover not all but part of it
@@johnvistawall9722 but i mean for the Philippines
Consider this,.
GDP Per capita of Philippines is $6000
and then the cost of Cornell is $80,000
let's say they get an aid of $40,000 50%
then what about the other $40,000 it's still $160,000 over 4 years which is an INSANE amount of money for Americans, but like Filipinos like that's too high.
@@Sanyu-Tumusiime good observation. their parents must be thrifty wealthy
YAY! i love this katie!! it's so interesting what you said about homesickness bc i'm feeling that now that i miss being at ucla!
aw happy we both understand❤️ thanks ash!!

Thanks! What would be the one thing you both would change about your univerity days knowing what you know now ?
soo . wbt you do u plan to settle in the usa for long term I mean get a job their ? what are your future plans ?
Can you please tell more about your experiences with FilAm students who grew up in the US?
I’ll keep this in mind! thanks for the suggestion :)
First! How is live after Cornell Katie?
thanks andrew! ooh I have so much to say about this haha but still transitioning!
NYC is terrible! The 3 big US cities are overhyped. I like medium sized cities or even small cities in the US
haha I do appreciate a medium and small sized city too!
well buddy it's about protecting American jobs and American workers. We can't let foreigners take our jobs.
