Luffy heard a weird roar like noise that gave him goosebumps. Bet all my fictional pirates currency that he heard Loki’s stomach and will simply free the man in order to let him eat a bowl of Oops! All Ragnaroks.
I think I could see Loki having a way with words to manipulate people or it being part of his df and convince Kidd and the Kid pirates to help him out. If Shanks is elsewhere (maybe preventing a certain black beardish fella from going somewhere), I could see it being tough for the Luffy and the Strawhats. It flips the situation in Wano to Luffy now being tag teamed. The Giants might be busy with dealing with a faction that believes in Loki.
Is it just me, or did the silhouette of Loki look like a fishman? Oda’s always played pretty fast and loose with the silhouettes, but this one seems to be the most egregious. Prove me wrong?
I have a few theories: 1. Loki could join the crew to add Giants to the races on the crew 2. Kid could have drifted to elbaf and be found by the old giants which big mom attacked. They would like Kid for getting revenge on her for them or just even have respect for his strength. And we could have this be a moment of character growth for him where he'll grow some sort of grandfatherly connection with the old giants and want to protect them/ get revenge for them if they're hurt. 3. Barto will have made a barrier ball and his crew will all be running inside it like a hamster ball to make it back to the island.
@@gabrielgoes0 Its not abt the legend so much as it is abt these particular characters.....Usopp is too weak for the fandom to believe he can defeat somebody like Loki who i believe is gonna turn out to be ridiculously powerful, Oda pulls from classic tropes all the time and still manages to make them uniqely his own
Something that caught my attention at the beginning of this arc was Luffy's disappointment in Usopp being almost killed by Iskat. I think it's the first time he actually scolds him (although not very harshly) for needing help defeating an enemy. That could foreshadow Usopp's development as a warrior by eventually achieving some major victory later in the arc.
Ussop and hajrudin working together to beat Loki would be cool. Since giants come in pairs and hajrudin has never had one. Especially since hes lokis brother
Hajrudin is Loki’s brother? Wasn’t Hajrudin as one of the contenders in the coliseum on Dressrosa where Diamanté was, did he mention anything in regards to his world or his life cause if he did cool but I don’t remember.

7:32 I can easily see Usopp defeating and even subjugating Loki as his right hand. His path to glory has been laid out since Dressrosa. Bow down in the presence of his glory, God Usopp, king of Elbaf.
The Rob Lucci situation gets even worse when you remember that 5 Seraphim were also on the island which would push him to 12th, though thankfully they were stuck in bubbles
Rob Lucci gave Luffy 1 of his toughest fought victories pre-timeskip the other being Crocodile & both became significantly stronger since being defeated by Luffy. Still Zoro shouldn't have been playing so much against Lucci.
I hope that Prince Loki have the Logia Sun-Sun Fruit which would explain why he sees himself as the Sun God and that it fits the Norse mythology of Surtur burning down the world of all life in Ragnarok.
@@Memelord1117 But Magma beat Fire at Marineford and we have already seen Prometheus, ocular Paramecia would be interesting - another mythical Zoan after Kaido/Yamato/Elders/Marco doesn't sound very original. I'm good, a bit axious because tomorrow I travel to work and it's giving me butterflies in my stomach. But if Usopp can survive Elbaph, I can survive this work-trip!
I think Usop will recognize that strength is not the only path to become a brave warrior, accept and embrace his cleverness as his main weapon to do so
Oda has to bring "inventor Usopp" back; the one who made Nami's clima-attack all by himself, and later upgraded it with some of Sky Island's dials. Iventiveness + great marksmanship. Those are his two main strengths. And I don't know about you, but I became tired of his "plant- pop-up bullets" pretty quickly. (I mean, the more impact/cut dials he'd taken with him, the more upgrades he could've added to his arsenal; plus, with how brutally an impact dial can affect one's body, it'd have made great training to get Usopp in shape. It all feels like a wasted opportunity. )
Loki felt like lillith in egghead arc. It's still way to early for the 1st or 2nd most poweful antagonist of the arc to appear. I think there's still 2 or 3 stronger character that has yet to appear for later. Unless oda is trying to speedrun the series this year.
@@uuh4yj43it doesn’t matter if the arc is fast as long they execute the story properly, and besides the anime will fill in the blanks and show the entire arc perfectly so that it wouldn’t feel rushed.
I get the feeling Loki may be nuts but he was also just used by someone else for them to become king by taking out Harold or to get the legendary fruit away from Elbaph for some other reason.
6:27 bruh Usopp is nowhere near the weakest human the amount of beatings he takes and the physical strain of his jobs like gardening and helping with ships repairs he's actually probably quite a bit stronger than a majority of humans
I think I’ve figured out Oda and his ambiguous death thing. He only truly confirms a character kill if it adds to the plot. All these characters like big mom, kaido and kidd, he’s kind of unspoken killed them because it’s the end of the story, but he leaves it open ended in case he comes up with an idea for them later on. He didn’t even think he’d get to elephant, that’s why we saw so much of it in flashbacks and when kidd and shanks turned up there. But he kept it ambiguous enough because there was a chance we could explore the whole island! Oda has a rough idea of where he’s going, and he definitely plans ahead but he pretty much waits to see where the logos takes him.
this is confirmed in an early-ish sbs i'm pretty sure, he doesnt like to waste cool characters he made. and he really liked kidd too when he designed him, so i think just ending him would be weird, especially by luffy's idol's hand.
@ I don’t think we’ll see him in this arc because Oda doesn’t really have any use for him. Anything he does in this arc he’s already done in wano. There’s a chance he can pop up later?? Either way, he’s gonna keep him on ice and probably forget about him because he’s constantly coming up with other characters and storyline’s so he probably won’t even pop up again from my opinion.
2:33 I would argue Vergo is even more powerful than Caesar, meaning this is the only arc, where Luffy doesn't defeat (or even fights) the main antagonist
Pretty sure that happened in Shells town with Axe hand Morgan and yeah,I can see a solid argument for Vergo above Ceaser in terms of power but in terms of position,he should be second
If Loki turns out to be the main antagonist, I´m way more curious to see his retainers and the matchup with the strawhats. Maybe we have already met some of them, like giants secretely supporting Loki
Loki is 63 ,which for a giant is young; so, he might be another "young legend" like Luffy. A talented, powerful guy with zero compassion or charisma. Like Bellamy used to be back in the day: a cruel, abusive piece-of-shit who'll gladly kick around those who are weaker. He might end up becoming Luffy's rival, his second rival, after Katakuri. Unlike him, Loki will begrudgingly acknowledge Luffy, and won't express his respect out-loud.
What if raw strength isnt what was the problem for the Giants chaining Loki up? Maybe it was more of a need for a unified agreement to do it at all? I can also see Usopp claiming a win over Loki by out tricking the trickster.
I know this is kinda unrelated to the actual video but on the topic of Loki: I REALLY REALLY hope his “legendary devil fruit” isn’t another Zoan type, especially not a mythical zoan. I feel like we’ve had way too much of that on Wano and it’s unlikely that Oda wants to keep the Zoan theme from the beast pirates going here. I think the best option would be for it to be a logia. Big Mom focuses on paramecia, Kaido focused on Zoans, therefor it’s only natural for our next villain to be a Logia. Plus we haven’t had a good Logia introduced in a *long* time. Perhaps that’s just because Haki negates a lot of their biggest strengths…
Important to note: Shanks and his crew just left Elbaf not too long ago. I could see a situation where, by the end of Elbaf, the giants all recognize Usopp as a true brave warrior of the sea, but there's still more to his arc, in the vein of "there's someone at the next island I've got to talk to".
One thing I think we should note is the significance of Norse mythology in Elbaf as well as what role Loki plays in mythology. He is commonly casted as either the hero or villain in any story- but he is commonly a villain in stories themed around the concept of Justice, like the Avengers early on. In stories wanting to express creativity and a journey to usurp, he is either the main protagonist or an ally to the protagonist. The reason for that is Loki is thought to be the harbinger of the apocalypse, any offspring he had imprisoned as a result. I’m struggling with seeing him as an antagonist to Luffy at least considering a lot of Loki’s lore signifies the breaking of justice and order.
"This Loki situation is truly sad, can't believe someone would kill his dad for a fucking fruit, it reminds me of the time I tickled my nipple by accident while playing guitar hero. That's about it, see ya"
In my opinion, it's pretty obvious that Loki is going to be beaten by Usopp, I think you're not giving enough credit to that idea. In the arc that embodies raw power and the greatest and bravest warriors in the world, thematically it would make a lot of sense for Loki to be beaten by the weakest and most fearful warrior in the world. And one thing you didn't mention is that Usopp IS Loki, I mean the real Loki. The god of lies, mischief, illusion, cunning, strategy and traps is Usopp, not Loki (OP's Loki). There can't be two Lokis in the world of OP, one will beat the other, it's a given. That's why I think Loki's legendary devil fruit is the paramecia of lies (it fits perfectly with the theme of "bad royalty" that Oda likes to put in his arcs), but that's another topic. And like you said it's David against Goliath, literally. Also, it's not because Usopp beats Loki that he's necessarily the first mugi to accomplish his dream. His dream is more of a state of mind, of his self-esteem rather than something factual. So Usopp can very well beat Loki, objectively become a brave warrior of the seas (he has been one for a long time already), while not having yet accomplished his dream because he himself does not believe it. And for me if Usopp converts Loki, it's as if he had beaten him, I consider that it is the same thing. Finally, in Norse mythology, Loki is killed by Heimdall. Heimdall is the guardian god of the world, the god of Humanity since he is the one who organized human society by creating the different human classes. Here we can see a strong link with Usopp who is the most human of the mugi, the most "normal", he represents Humanity. In addition, Heimdall is the announcing god, the one who blows the horn when Ragnarok comes to warn the world that the war is starting. Here we also see a parallel with Usopp who is the lookout, the one who notices and announces the events to his crew. Also, Heimdall's 9 mothers are called "the women of waves" and Usopp's mother is called Bankina = banchina = "dock" in Italian. And finally Heimdall is said to be "able to hear the grass grow and a single leaf fall, as well as to see to the ends of the world", an obvious link with Usopp's observation haki. Heimdall is many other things too that don't necessarily have a link with Usopp so the parallel is limited, but there are still disturbing similarities.
The guy had two panels of screen time and there are already people saying that he is stronger than Kaido, I understand that the guy's Aura is immaculate but I prefer to wait for him to do something before trying to draw any conclusions.
Quick we need some retroactive Big Mom Pirates reactions to Loki when he proposes to Lola to gauge his strength Pero "I will only be the third strongest son if he joins our family" Kat "he is closer to Mama in strength then I" Smoothie "Lola will become Mamas favorite after this"
I really don't know how much I buy that the Elbaph arc wasn't going to happen. Even if Oda was toying with the idea of dropping it, I just can't believe that it wasn't meant to be a part of the story at some point with all the build up that it had dating all the way back to Little Garden. So I wouldn't put too much behind that thought. I also think that people are making too many assumptions off of Loki based off of just 2 panels. The fact that he killed his father for a devil fruit power does not put him in a particularly good light. Also, I am doing well, Liam, thank you. I hope you are doing well too.
Agreed, came to leave a similar comment myself and my TL:DR is Oda would not have skipped it after set ups for it for over a decade, it’s just way to lore important for the overall story and pay off. So I refute any arguments for it being skipped based on things random “industry people” say or a small remark made by Oda that’s been over analyzed for years.
anyone else think that the Noah could be Joyboys pirate ship? Maby that's why Blackbeard is heading to Fishman Island, perhaps there are some Sun god secrets left onboard.
I could see the main antagonist of this arc being either A. Man Marked by Flames B.The silhouette in the beginning telling them to come C. Urouge ( My personal dark horse of the story)
Silhouette or Urouge make sense, though it could be a different giant who is now king or Enel comes back with his mini moon army to fight giants. If the Man Marked by Flames does work for the WG and is always at sail as BBs crew said when they met Kuzan, it's not likely he is on Elbaph a non WG island who was known to be Joyboys allies. Especially not if the Marines also assumed the Straw Hats went to Elbaph with the giants, that man would stay away most likely.
I can’t wait for the end of the year so we can create a new bingo card. This is what I want to see in Elbaph: - Robin reunite with Saul and read the Ohara books - Usopp being recognised by the giants - Loki addressing the whole Lola/Big Mom situation - discovering a link between the island history and the void century
- An answer to what actually happened at Big Moms birthday party, the giant who fled should be around. Possibly in the same chapter we see the Holy Knights includes at least 1 of the kids from the birthday party who was sold not eaten. - An answer to a sort of throw away line from way back in the story about a possible 2nd giant island in the West Blue. - Some sort of info on Oars and Oars Jr, maybe even see Oars Jr with a giant peg leg.
@ you know I always had this secret theory that the World Government took Oars Jr corpse and turned it into a giant-mecha -zombie to use as their secret weapon. I mean… his corpse was right there and we know they had the technology to do something like that thanks to Vegapunk and Moria’s Power.
@@colibri224 Oars Jr didn't die supposedly. His vivre card or something Oda wrote said he likely survived Marineford, but obviously lost his leg Doflamingo cut off, I'm just drawing a blank on if it was Tekking or maybe Syv who pointed that fact out in a video like a month ago.
@@colibri224 seriously. I was confused as was most of the stream audience, but they backed up their claim with something an SBS or his Vivre card saying status unknown instead of dead like we all assume. Shanks gave Whitebeards crew a chance to leave, Moria was attacked right after Marineford too if I remember right, so he couldn't get the body for a new shadow puppet either.
Honestly, I think it's likely that if Loki is a villain, it'll ultimately be Usopp that takes him down. Partly because Elbaph has been set up as Usopp's dream destination since Little Garden, partly because Usopp has strong connections with the giants, partly because of the whole David & Goliath angle... but also because the various Lokis of Norse Myths, be it Loki Laufeyson or Utgard-Loki, are _Tricksters,_ and who better to usurp the title of Trickster God than Usopp?
7:00 You should make a video why you think this because Usopp FEAT-WISE should be stronger than Chopper, Nami, Brook, and Franky. Im not saying you’re wrong, but i just dont understand why you would think Usopp is weaker than them
I really think Black Beard will get or already has a Kraken or Octopus Zoan fruit. Krakens and Octopi have 3 hearts and if the theory about devil fruit powers being in the heart is true, then it would be likely that Black beard ate White Beards heart to steal his devil fruit which would tie into demonic sacrifices for unnatural power. It would explain the 3 skulls and 8 bones on his jolly roger and why his beard looks like octopus legs. Each gun on his waist is to represent one for each heart, like how pirates would go for the heart. To take this a step further, his darkness fruit could also represent the black ink that krakens have. Also, Krakens supposedly "sleep in a dreamless sleep on the ocean floor" which is similar to how Black Beard doesnt actually dream because he doesnt sleep with again more darkness symbolism with reference to the ocean floor.

It would be interesting if Loki ended up being a cutty flam situation where we all assumed he’d be the antagonist but ended up being an ally and possibly a potential crew member. The only problem with him being crew is that he’s too big to be on the sunny.
i dont think he is going to join the crew, but i think there is a big chance he isnt the antagonist, at least not the main one, i think we are headed for a bait-and-switch, temporary team-up or redemption arc.
@ I’m not gonna lie, if Oda doesn’t pull something like this and he ends up just being the main antagonist, unless it’s a really good reason. I’m gonnna be disappointed.
OK you wanted my brain thoughts, so this is on you. I recently read a comment here on YT under a video of the character theme of the character Hisako from the game Killer Instinct (2013) and it gave me an idea. I'll just quote the comment here: "So for those who don't know, a Yokai, a Japanese spirit or mythological creature in some capacity is often able to imitate the human form or our mannerisms, but they tend to have problems repeating themselves, like saying the same word twice in a row. Ever made a phone call over there and notice how they always say 'Moshi moshi'? It's to confirm if the person on the other end is a human and not someone possessed by an evil spirit or replaced by a shapeshifter. Apply this to Hisako's theme. She's an Onryo, a vengeful spirit and clearly not human anymore, but the vocals/lyrics repeat words. Despite her state of being Hisako retains her humanity in death and combines it with her otherwordly powers to chase UltraTech around for pillaging the graves in her village which she died for to defend in the first place." What does that have to do with OP? Well think about the naming scheme of Devil Fruits. And that can have some rather scary implications.
I strongly believe that Loki is not a bad guy, he might be just mentally broken, but now luffy will be there for him. However, Luffy befriending Loki will upset the whole Elbaph (Strawhats usually anger the whole nation lol :P) thus creating the space for the duel of straw hats vs Red Haired pirates!
Ussop NEEDS to be the one who defeats Loki! It's been almost 25 YEARS since Little Garden forshadowed Ussop going to Elbaph and this was supposed to be Ussop's glow up arc right? Also, i see people saying Loki could become a Straw Hat member which would be cool but what about our boy/girl Yamato? Yamato needs to pull up already!
I think at this point it's beyond fair to assume we are completely done with Eustass Kid. If any theory channels bring him up, dismiss them completely, unfollow and report for misinformation.
Not really when we have been seeing nearly every major side character get something in the final saga and kid is a major side character whether we like it or not
What if he's in another one of those lego play rooms, with no metal to use? I don't think he'll be a focus like he was before, but he should still be alive.
In norse mythology, loki is Thor's uncle, unlike the Marvel version of loki, making him Thor's brother. It's so ironic you called loki a "freaky uncle" when in norse, he indeed is freaky. An example is him giving birth to an 8 leg horse.
@@ryanbhan2708 loki isn't related to any of the gods. He was the son of 2 frost giants and was found by Odin and gradually brought into their fold. You don't call Fenrir or Jormungandr Odin's nephews despite them being Loki's children.
The reason I feel this is usopps moment is that he’s never defeated someone based on power alone since chew. Mr 4 and MC were with chopper. Spandam has the power of a toothpick. Perona, because he has hacks. The fish man lost from the steroids. Sugar from trauma. Page one who would’ve been a great feat, was defeated by big mom. Oda could take this the “I need to prove myself” growth arc and defeat Loki
The only way I could think Usopp would take down Loki is like the death of Baldur in norse mythology, where Loki tricked the blind god Hodr into shooting Baldur with an arrow made of mistletoe, the only thing in existence that didn't promise Frigg to not harm Baldur. Usopp's current weapon firing plants could provide that parallel.
While i dont think its the case you forgot one important reason he gave why loki might get defeated by zoro and thats to get ready for mihawk. Depending on how you think the story goes the next mihawk interaction could be kind of soon and zoro still seems a FAR ways from mihawk. He went extreme diff with king and was struggling with lucci. He needs a crazy W like this or else him beating mihawk will feel forced
Hello long time viewer, first time commenter. I believe that Loki is only pretending to be the bad guy in order to protect his fellow prince Hajrudin. Let me explain: Point 1 - It always seems giants are in pairs. Yeti cool brothers, Dorry and Brogy, Goldberg and Gerd, Oimo and Kashii, Jarul and Jorul, etc. I believe Hajrudin and Loki are also paired together to be the two princes of Elbaf. Point 2 - When we first meet Hajrudin, he is really weak and alone. He is taken out by 1 punch from Luffy. I think the pride of Elbaf is their strength and while one prince is very strong (Loki), the other is very weak (Harjrudin). In his shame, he sought a shortcut to gain strength to be deemed worthy of the title of king of elbaf. Point 3 - We have already seen giants being beaten by underhanded means, little garden, impel down etc. I think the nika fruit was on the island being protected by them for 900 years and someone or something tricked Hajrudin into stealing the fruit for them with the promise of power. They may have also tricked him into killing the king. Loki found out about his little brother being tricked and instead took the blame since Loki knew his brother Hajrudin didn’t have the strength to survive the punishment. That’s why we see bandages on Loki, someone tried to feed and take care of him who I believe to be Hajrudin. Loki is pretending to be bad guy and claiming he is the sun god so he can justify why he stole the legendary fruit and killed the king. He is playing the part, this is also exactly opposite between the relationship of Doflamingo and Rosinante. In his shame and to set Loki free, Hajrudin leaves the kingdom in search of an equally legendary fruit (or he just thinks another legendary fruit will suffice) and hence why we meet him in the colosseum in Dressrosa fighting for Ace’s fruit. He might have heard stories of sun god from his elders and thought fire fruit is the same as the sun god fruit. This makes even more sense when you remember Shanks stole the nika fruit from CP ship. Perhaps Hajrudin or Loki requested Shanks help in stopping the world government from getting their hands on it and Shanks intercepted the ship. I think the antagonist of this arc will be mainly the person who actually killed the king and getting the other giants of the island to forgive Hajrudin and Loki. Perhaps they think that dividing the giants would make it easier to take over Elbaf.
You joked about the Franky docking reference but honestly I’m wondering if we should be looking at Thriller Bark for parallels now… Oars froze to death. Loki is chained up in a thimble winter/Nifleheim esc snowscape. He’s claiming to be the Sun god, and bringing the Dawn smacks of needing to defeat Oars/Moria/shadow fruit powers by sunrise. All of Elbaf coming together to beat Oars isn’t so unlike Nightmare Luffy combining all the Thriller Bark shadows… My first impression of Loki was extremely Doffy like (fallen noble claiming godhood, smiling maniacally while chained down, the evil brother who unalived his father etc) but I’m now also wondering if there isn’t something in all this Thriller Bark stuff too… That’s the genius of Oda. It really could be anything. Where other authors write themselves into corners, Oda also seems to leave a million open doors he can choose to walk through at any given moment
*Wano was not Zoro’s arc…* He’s much like Luffy in the sense that he’s not bound to a single place. Even in his ideologies, he want to be the WORLD’S strongest swordsman. He has to experience the WORLD. Even if he HAD strong ties to Wano… which he doesn’t. Again like Luffy who doesn’t have much ties to his own biological parents, Zoro knows & has actual ties to those he’s grown up around & experienced life with. Literally NONE of that has anything to do with Wano. Some of them might have been drone there but Zoro was completely separated from that. It’s not like Zoro is the typ of character to arrive on Wano soil & be like “Wow 😲 my dad waked here.” He doesn’t care lml.
I dunno, the way Loki was introduced and the way Luffy interacted with him doesn't give me "villain vibes" Will they fight ? Maybe... I can see a quick test-your-strength kind of fight. But a major antagonist ? Nah, this is not how Oda typically does it.
i agree, i think its gonna be like luffy fighting the giants on little garden. if loki has any giant social disposition and honor he should respect luffy's strenght. but this also might be where the conflict arises, if he is treacherous and not honorable.
I'm still all in on Loki having some sort of Nuclear Devil Fruit, which could produce a very malevolent, but ultimately sun-like effect, and lead into a "nuclear winter", aka, the Fimbulvetr preceding Ragnarok..

I have a few theories:
1. Loki could join the crew to add Giants to the races on the crew

Yah, how strong do you think Loki is? Maybe the strength of an 8000 person army?
The Rob Lucci situation gets even worse when you remember that 5 Seraphim were also on the island which would push him to 12th, though thankfully they were stuck in bubbles
I mean Zoro DID fight the Mihawk Seraphim
Rob Lucci gave Luffy 1 of his toughest fought victories pre-timeskip the other being Crocodile & both became significantly stronger since being defeated by Luffy. Still Zoro shouldn't have been playing so much against Lucci.

Loki felt like lillith in egghead arc. It's still way to early for the 1st or 2nd most poweful antagonist of the arc to appear. I think there's still 2 or 3 stronger character that has yet to appear for later. Unless oda is trying to speedrun the series this year.
i mean egghead was pretty fast, if elbaf is any faster i'm gonna be worried.

Bruh has taken some beatings lmao. Had his cracked more than once lmao.
Loki and his retainers the Champions of the 9 Realms
I know this is kinda unrelated to the actual video but on the topic of Loki:
I REALLY REALLY hope his “legendary devil fruit” isn’t another Zoan type, especially not a mythical zoan.
I can see Loki having perfect cell's personality

Important to note: Shanks and his crew just left Elbaf not too long ago. I could see a situation where, by the end of Elbaf, the giants all recognize Usopp as a true brave warrior of the sea, but there's still more to his arc, in the vein of "there's someone at the next island I've got to talk to".
I am extremely anxious and life currently sucks so watching this channel since it helps with my anxiety.
Usopp going to have a David vs Goliath moment when we least expect it
Temp stunned Page One defeating Loki would be his greatest feat in the series
Usopp vs Loki we’ll be there
Nice video, Liam!
Heimdall is many other things too that don't necessarily have a link with Usopp so the parallel is limited, but there are still disturbing similarities.
just finished a midnight shift gonna watch this on my way home lol
Really loving those little edited cartoon fights. Theyre so amusing lol
The guy had two panels of screen time and there are already people saying that he is stronger than Kaido, I understand that the guy's Aura is immaculate but I prefer to wait for him to do something before trying to draw any conclusions.
Quick we need some retroactive Big Mom Pirates reactions to Loki when he proposes to Lola to gauge his strength
Pero "I will only be the third strongest son if he joins our family"
Kat "he is closer to Mama in strength then I"
Smoothie "Lola will become Mamas favorite after this"
I really don't know how much I buy that the Elbaph arc wasn't going to happen.
I could see the main antagonist of this arc being either
A. Man Marked by Flames
B.The silhouette in the beginning telling them to come
This is what I want to see in Elbaph:
- Robin reunite with Saul and read the Ohara books
- Usopp being recognised by the giants
- Loki addressing the whole Lola/Big Mom situation
- discovering a link between the island history and the void century
@@NeonRoger Really ?! I need to check that asap. 🤔

Kraken or Octopus DF weakened in the sea?

It would be interesting if Loki ended up being a cutty flam situation where we all assumed he’d be the antagonist but ended up being an ally and possibly a potential crew member. The only problem with him being crew is that he’s too big to be on the sunny.
i dont think he is going to join the crew, but i think there is a big chance he isnt the antagonist, at least not the main one, i think we are headed for a bait-and-switch, temporary team-up or redemption arc.

OK you wanted my brain thoughts, so this is on you. I recently read a comment here on YT under a video of the character theme of the character Hisako from the game Killer Instinct (2013) and it gave me an idea. I'll just quote the comment here:
"So for those who don't know, a Yokai, a Japanese spirit or mythological creature in some capacity is often able to imitate the human form or our mannerisms, but they tend to have problems repeating themselves, like saying the same word twice in a row.
Despite her state of being Hisako retains her humanity in death and combines it with her otherwordly powers to chase UltraTech around for pillaging the graves in her village which she died for to defend in the first place."
What does that have to do with OP? Well think about the naming scheme of Devil Fruits. And that can have some rather scary implications.
That's pretty cool context to know about. Thanks
🤔
I strongly believe that Loki is not a bad guy, he might be just mentally broken, but now luffy will be there for him. In norse mythology, loki is Thor's uncle, unlike the Marvel version of loki, making him Thor's brother. It's so ironic you called loki a "freaky uncle" when in norse, he indeed is freaky. An example is him giving birth to an 8 leg horse.

Usopp gets GIANT plant ammo inspiration - Garden of Eden!
Did people already give up on Scopper Gaban being on Elbaph? It seems like with every silhouette we see on an Island people swear it's Scopper Gaban
Hello long time viewer, first time commenter. I believe that Loki is only pretending to be the bad guy in order to protect his fellow prince Hajrudin. Let me explain:
Point 1 - It always seems giants are in pairs.

You joked about the Franky docking reference but honestly I’m wondering if we should be looking at Thriller Bark for parallels now…
Oars froze to death. Loki is chained up in a thimble winter/Nifleheim esc snowscape. He’s claiming to be the Sun god, and bringing the Dawn smacks of needing to defeat Oars/Moria/shadow fruit powers by sunrise. All of Elbaf coming together to beat Oars isn’t so unlike Nightmare Luffy combining all the Thriller Bark shadows…
My first impression of Loki was extremely Doffy like (fallen noble claiming godhood, smiling maniacally while chained down, the evil brother who unalived his father etc) but I’m now also wondering if there isn’t something in all this Thriller Bark stuff too…
That’s the genius of Oda. It really could be anything. Where other authors write themselves into corners, Oda also seems to leave a million open doors he can choose to walk through at any given moment

He’s much like Luffy in the sense that he’s not bound to a single place. Will they fight ?
