Yes it does when the car is idle ,which causes it to cut timing and knocks the engine a little.Im going to relocate my battery to the boot and move the pod away from the engine and place it where the battery was,and build a large size box around it to cut out heat soak,and have a pipe running from the bumper to the pod box.BTW The pod does make a massive difference in power too and increases boost pressure from 9 to 10 psi ,to 12 to 14 psi and makes all the fun turbo noises that everyone likes
