This is the beauty of wave-riding and humans--being able to read and time Mother Nature's rythems and nuances. A finer sport we have not yet seen. I snowboard and talk to snowboarders who obviously haven't surfed and they ego the apex, but when I ask them what they would do if the snow pitched beneath them as they went for their move, they are nonplussed.
