The 2018 Audi a3 is an amazing car! Just because it's the smallest vehicle in the Audi line-up doesn't mean that it's inferior. The fit, finish and performance is just as excellent as the larger and more expensive Audis. The A3's fuel economy is amazing, it can run off of regular unleaded gasoline and it doesn't have run-flat tires. From a cost-of-ownership perspective alone, the Audi A3 is a great deal. I've been able to achieve 0-60 in about 5.2 seconds with the Audi A3. That's extremely impressive, especially for a car at this price point! #Audi #A3

You've got great taste! I love this car and it's great that I can fill it up with regular unleaded. The price/comfort/performance/style is all great!
Very few of these have sunroofs in the UK. Yeah I know we don't really get any Sun but I like them. It is a lovely car.
Interesting. I think that they’re pretty much standard in the USA. Sadly I seldom open it because dust and leaves blow in.

Hey broth where did you film this? Awesome car! I bought a 2020 Jetta on New Years eve and I love it. My 3rd Jetta. Love Audi too. Keep it up man! This A3 and the new Jetta share the MQB platform... now the same car.

By far the best review on A3. I am waiting for mine in August. It is the 1.2 tfsi variant with a lot of features toned down unfortunately :(

Let me point out that the variants we are getting in Pakistan are high end (with some limitations like smaller engine/nav, due to our regulations). Some of the features which we do get, and which even this car in the video is missing: both front powered seats, full led headlights.
Fayyaz Ahmed yes I hate those regulations. But some features don't depend on regulations which are toned down. I don't want to go into details on a public forum :)

The GTI is a nice ride! Why do you want to get rid of it? I had MAJOR electronics issues with my 2017 Passat SEL Premium and that's why I switched to the Audi A3. This car is a completely different tier of quality and quality control! #Audi

Great Review. Audi of Huntsville has basically the same year model for sell as a pre certified. Called. Holly no longer works there....anyone else you recommend at this dealership.

What is your feedback gettin in and out of the car? You and I are about the same size and when I was at the dealer it seemed like the front door opening was a little small getting in and out? Please give me your feedback on that. Thanks!
The Audi A3 looks small from the outside but the ergonomics inside are amazing. I actually prefer the A3 over the larger A4. It’s hard to do while test driving but once you get the steering wheel and seat set just right, it’s easy to get in and out of. Don’t confuse how the A3 wraps around you as not enough room :). I came from the VW Passat which had a lot of extra room but have found the A3 to be a lot more comfortable. That’s heavily linked to some of the best seats that I’ve ever had in a car plus excellent ergonomics. Yes, my knees often hit the steering wheel when I get in and out though LOL
Everything is an option including the start button.
Electronics issues aren’t optional unfortunately :( Both of my Audis were riddled with electronics issues…..excellent cars otherwise!
@@IrixGuy Yes very true basic features and outdated tech shared between all their brands should equate to more reliability.

Awesome! What prompted you to sell the Giulia? That still looks like a wicked cool car but I didn’t have a good feeling about it. Audi A3 is amazing and top build quality inside and out.
Giulia is beautiful car but diesel, red Alfa, and too big. I prefer a smallest car and very good materials. Il's a Stronic Quattro with 190 HP. Sorry for my very bad english

You mentioned you don’t need premium fuel - are you using 87 or 89? Significant performance difference between the two?
Mine ran fine with 87. I actually drive an A4 now and use 87 in it too. I didn't notice a performance hit. #Audi
Hey, does the premium 2018 Audi A3 come with Apple car play?
Mine did. I got the base model Audi A3 Premium with “convenience package.” That package added the Apple CarPlay for mine and that was one of the things that swayed me from this and the Alfa Romeo Guilia.
This might be a little late but all A3s come with CarPlay standard
Dynamic turn signals on base ?
Not sure what that is.
@@IrixGuy the turn signals that make a motion movement to the side you turn to, i know they are available on prestige but not sure if they are on premium.
I think that there may be lights on the side mirrors but that’s about it....nothing fancy.

I’ve owner several BMWs and Mercedes. Audi is definitely a tier above and the A3 performs better than its price point IMO.

If any model does that would likely be the trim level. Not sure.....

Sorry but You aren’t getting 5.2 seconds to 0-60 in a FWD 184 Hp and 222 LB ft of torque A3. My Quattro version doesn’t even achieve that unless I launch control it. Stock is 5.4 on the awd and 6.6 for the 2.0 FWD as per Audi’s specs. Love the little car but I’m outgrowing it. It’s def good for the money, but I personally wouldn’t get the FWD A3 over a Golf.
I’m loving the A3 still and plan to pick up A5 or S5 next!

No with the Black Optics package it doesn't. Even when they added the S-line body kit as standard for 2018 it looked slightly more aggressive.
Great point! Black Optics package looks nice! A5 or S5 is still better looking though =)

Don't understand how Audi doesn't put a flat bottom steering wheel in this car, but in most VW cars they do.
Think it is in some but this is just the base model. I’m cheap.
@@IrixGuy Yes, the higher trim A3 does have a flat bottom steering wheel. They could have put it on all trim levels and still have kept this a base model. I know to some a flat bottom steering wheel really doesn't matter, but I think in this car it would look better. I don't think you're cheap, I think Audi is.
I got Apple CarPlay via Audi Convenience Package and that’s all that I needed. Great performance/MPG with this car.
