from the burn marks can see that the heat is not correct spread - you should drill those flame pies from both sides and not only top then would be better result.

Q: I drilled 2 mm holes on the burner but flame 🔥 is approximately 2-3 cm how can I make it go higher on my fire pit?

Great video, I am considering altering a Blackstone griddle to as bare bones as possible to lighten the weight and changing the burner valves to give me more control over the flame. How close to griddle bottom is your burner tubes?.

Please notice:
Not all stainless steel (SS) are safe for fire cooking. SS contains several unsafe metals like nickel and chrome, which can escape when it is flame heated. So make sure your SS is safe for grilling.

Looks good, but you may wish to improve its safety by adding a wire mesh screen downstream of the valve to act as a flame arrestor.

Screen is not needed or used on venturi gas air mix as their is no oxygen in the supply side gas.
