More balanced than the Bronze, with less suckout in the mids and less pumped up treble. And better sounding to me than most AMT tweeters. And, at $1299 a pair at Crutchfield, the same price as the Silver 100, and a lot less than the Golds or Platinums. Compared to the Focal 906 with this amp they seem a lot bassier and less clear on top

This is a combo that's clean, controled and has plenty of definition and even pretty good tonal balance, but it gets a touch hard sounding in the bass and on transients to me. These are probably my favorite of the MA's E has demo'd for us so far, but I prefer the somewhat softer, "woodier" musicalty of the Denton 80ths over these with this highly focused and less than ultrs sweet sounding Peachtree. Still, I could listen to this system and mainly enjoy it.
I'm surprised that you like these William. Great for bass, detail and dynamics but I think you might get a headache. I'm going to have to compare these to the R3s now.
Just listened to the R3s and they sound much better balanced with a fuller mid-range.
@@davidcarr2216 I find them energetic and entertaining. While mids are a touch lean and treble a bit too bright, the EMTs are nicer to my ears than their metal domes are. For sure the R3s have more filled in and forward mids, but they aren't significantly more transparent to me, just different.

Denton 80th with Aiyima A07 please!
With the Denton 80s I'm pretty sure that Class AB is normally better. I've tried a couple of Class Ds on mine and prefer them with Class AB. Check thevideo with the Sony.The price has gone up though, used to be cheap.
The Peachtree is impressive for a class d amplifier. If has good mids and decent highs. Bass feels ok but just ok !! Maybe is the Monitor audios. My concern is how long the Peachtree amplifier will last ?
It sounds clear and clean but I have doubts about Class D amps unless you can find one which is a good match for your speakers. The tech is changing a lot also. This model has beeen replaced now. Check their website.

These sound "glassy" to me with an exagerated top end. They might be okay for mixing but not for HiFi listening.
I don't hear it. The Focal 906 sounds a lot brighter with this amp.
@@DougMen1 They sound glassy and very bassy to me. Just replied by Telegram to a comment sent to me via Danny's Channel, (since removed) telling me I'd won a mystery prize but I had to pay shipping to HK. I told him/her to go and do one. The prize was a flat screen TV and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Yeah, right from a speaker maker.
They look cool but my ears might not like a ribbon tweeter 🤔

I don't like this amplifier. Although it has bass control and ok highs, it sounds somehow flat and boring. These speakers are too bright like many other MA speakers.
