- On this episode of Deadend Times we head down to Santa Maria CA for the West Coast Kustoms Cruising Nationals. This is one of our favorite events of all time. The Friday night cruise is one of the best around, it’s the best place to see hundreds of traditional customs all cruising together. The show on Saturday is just as good, but even more cars show up and pack the fairgrounds. It has some great history from it’s time back in Paso Robles and long before that.
We also feature Dallas Marine’s full custom 1950 Chevy coupe. It was so cool for us to finally get a chance to see Dallas’ Chevy in person after seeing it on social media so much. Dallas is from Florida and he brought his ride all the way to Texas for this years Lone Star Round Up in Austin. The Chevy has so many tasteful modifications and all done in traditional style. Everything from the trunk and interior to the engine is clean and custom. It is very nice to see cars built to this level and still be driven.

Cant believe i found this..Lived in SM for only 2yrs 81'-83, class of 82. Lived 3 blocks from the highschool before moving back east.. I hungout with a few cholos back then, cruising main st. and hangin in the mall parking lot, and was always impressed by the cars and how clean they were. Wasn't into a gang or anything but liked to party and chill, and seeing the tri-tip cooked on the half barrel drums just brought back a flood of memories. This one guy had a 66 Chevelle with hydraulics, and when he hammered down the front-end that thing would shoot out sparks 50ft behind him. He had a special plate on the front suspension that made colorful sparks....These guys were true artists when it came to their cars, it's such a big culture down there. Loved seeing this and my old town ~peace~☠🤘
Great show.... As you can see there's many Talents Out There, when it comes to building with your Imagination. There no wrong way! Everyone is an Artist !!!!!!!!
