As someone who has owned and shot various 1911's over the yrs,I found this video very informative and interesting. Never realized the significance of the sear spring and how the adjustments Alex made in this video affect the trigger pull weight, I lightly polished the hammer and sear contact surfaces on a colt series '70 1911 .45acp I own some yrs ago. Am not a gunsmith,nor am I a butcher when it comes to working on my pistols,but will try this on my firearm to see how it works out.
