The B777-200ERs were suppost to be retired since 2020, but due to insufficient aircraft after Thai retired A380 & B747 so they brought back for short distance destination (less than 4 hours). Furthermore, some less than 4 hours destination from Bangkok may use A320 from Thai Smile as well.
there's no more thai smile it's now Thai airways and 77E 2 of them will be retired and replace with 2 A330 and in 2029 Thai airways will have 66 of B787's and more coming after
I had seen that you used avianca lifemiles on some of the other airlines flight too, (ANA first class flight if i'm not mistake). Any tips on how to collect the miles? I just started to plan/study to use miles recently, and plan to take ANA to Japan in the future
Exactly, in fact most of my Star Alliance flights were booked using LifeMiles. LifeMiles often offers miles-purchase promo, so purchase miles during this period and book your desired flight through the website. Although award spaces on ANA are really tough to come by these days, so once you see one becomes available, snag it quick!
Your first flight plane has internal code "35D" which has 33 business class seats but aerolopa mistakenly described in the description that this plane has 30 seats.
Greetings from Australia! Great trip report! Always loved Thai, they do offer a great product and crew with plenty of food. Shame they don't offer free wifi like Air NZ/Singapore Air etc. Keep up the great work!
I Like The Cuisine Aboard.Great Trip Report
