This song is from the album Not Fragile recoded in 1974 and I think it was released the same year or the next year in 1975
So I’m gonna call that 50 years ago friend.
I wish it was just 35 years ago it was released.

They NEED to be in the R&R Hall of Fame! They have sold OVER 30 MILLION RECORDS now (Read the rest of their stats)> Their 1970s catalogue included five top-40 albums and six US top-40 singles (11 in Canada). BTO has five certified gold albums and one certified platinum album in the US; in Canada, they have six certified platinum albums and one certified gold album. There are several undeserving bands in the R&R HOF with far less album sales too!

love these guys! Such good memories at the concerts in the mid 70's. My fondest memory was it had just got to the bass by itself part in Not Fragile and Freds rig just cut out... Randy without skipping a beat picked up the part on guitar and the two guitars played about half the solo until Fred got back on line and the damn cheer was deafening.. just one of those live concerts moments you never forget :)
