I always loved when The Disney Channel would show this and Ghostbusters 2 on the same night. Bobby Brown was the MAN back then! Before the drugs and scandals ruined his career.
0:42 ---- Gordon Goose: Why are we suddenly in black and white? Three Blind Mice: We're colorblind. Gordon Goose: Y-yeah, but *I'm* not. Three Blind Mice: It's not *your* office! ---- That is equal parts sensible, ridiculous and hilarious.
im so glad there are other people who like this movie lol. i talk about it with my friend all the time and they look at me like i have another head. i liked this movie when i aws younger and i STILL love it.
Man he really dont get enough credit for being a really great entertainer because he really is a great actor! He ROCKED the world for toddlers! All around great performer! -BoBBy 16
I love Bobby Brown! Him playing all 3 mice is perfect! I'm pretty sure those are his dancers Heart and Soul. The dance part is awesome I wish we had stuff like this again. #LoveForBBrownAlways
I use to rent this movie every week from 1991 to 1993 then I would watch it on TV when it came on like 3 times a month. I love this movie then and I still love it today and I'm 26, why can't they make movies like this any more. This song was too good still!
I used to love this movie growing up! I wish there were more creative people in Hollywood that would put an ensemble of musical acts together like this again!
I have both versions of this film on DVD. They're both on one disc. I found it off a website that had it and it was hard to find it. I have the 95 full version Rock-N-Rhyme and the 77 minute cut version made for T.V. I grew up on the Disney Channel 77 minute cut version. But I have to say I like them both equally. It was weird to see things that weren't in the cut version on the 95 minute version. Also the music was different and some of the sequences were played in a different order.
Awesome thanks for posting it. I have the video but I don't have a VCR anymore. sigh... I don't get to watch it much anymore. And to top it off I saw it orginially on free tv...you know the little black box. I blame my mother
Was bobby brown just one of the mice or was he all the speaking parts? Were the other two dancers suppost to look like him? Or did they do that multiple people camera trick?
It's funny to me that B. Brown had to show his face 3 times rather than just in the beginning or say maybe the very end. We know it's you man calm down.
atompkins99 I actually read that the producers asked him not to show his face or break character at all but he refused he was that much of an ego that he insisted on showing his face multiple times even when asked not to.
This definitely ruined Bobby Brown's image. As hilarious as he was in this, It definitely led R&B and hip-hop critics to accuse him of being a sell-out, which started to happen when he did "On Our Own", which was on the soundtrack to Ghostbusters II, despite how good the song was.

Kids nowdays will NEVER understand how much NICE this sound is...the oldies ALWAYS'LL be the GOODIES
I just LOVE the way Bobby Brown removed his hat and mouse mask and stared at the camera at the end. That was AWESOME! 😁😎

He truly played all 3 blind mice? How’d you know?
I think it was Bobby Brown and members of new edition. I don't believe he played all 3
Damn!! Bobby B was the shit!!
Favorite part ❤

Just reminding you 10 years later to watch it again!
Me too! I used to rent this movie at the library! 🤣
I can't believe this is on YT!!!! Gawd this brings back memories.
That Bobby brown
2:09 HOP TO IT, don’t be late lol 😂🙌🏻
I think Bobby Brown asked to take off the disguise to keep his "street cred". Everyone else stays in character pretty much.
I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to agree with Janetta Martin on this one.

I bet Bobby wore those shoes to pay homage to Pee-wee Herman.
You should have taken that movie deal Bobby!!...
"Nothin to do but cut the cheese!!!!!!!!!!"
This reminds me of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up.”
the coolest part of this movie...this seems different than the original though, like this included uncut scenes
1990: “It’s not your office BABE”
“DUDE!”
2020: “Calm down SIR”
“Excuse me it’s MA’AM!
the music made me wanna dance!
So this wasn't a fever dream lol
This was properrrr tv. DWL I love when they just dash the papers.. Where is this kind of stuff now :(, that my future children can watch
I remember dancing to this when I was a kid
This was some well thought out stuff, I'm glad I grew up on that magic - - screw this nowadays crap!!
Oh hey Jessica Rabbit
Some of the lines on this version of this scene wasn't on the Disney channel version of this movie. This is from the 95 min full version.
Yup. I know this movie like the back of my hand and I’m completely thrown off by the extra footage lol
Three Blind Mice disliked this!!!!!!!!!!
And D'Artagnan
Was that suppose to be Jessica Rabbit (the lady in the red dress and red hair)? If not, she suuuurrre looks like her.
It is

I think those orchestral hits in the song are saying "hop to it" to remind folks of the overarching theme
i watched this in the 7th grade on disney channel when they were actually decent to watch
1:50 they break it the eff down
very good dancing and music
this is the way i wish that Hip hop had stayed 1:46 i forget the instrument used for those sounds.
Do you have the one with the heavy metal band in the kings dungeon? I really dug that one. I remember watching it when I was like 7.

Where did you ever find such a treasure? I would love to have this movie on DVD.
Were they all played by Bobby Brown, or were two others doubles?
Mam,back in the day...
This "hip-hop" music sounds like it was cut from a Sonic the Hedgehog game.
@bestamerica HA! Bloody Brilliant Mate!
Jessica Rabbit Roger Rabbit’s wife in the beginning.
Yeah I wonder that too.
Why does this scene seem slightly longer than the vhs copy I had as a kid?
I found it off Ebay. It comes very very fast. It costs like 20 bucks I think. I don't remember. I'm not sure if it's still on there.
Were they all played by Bobby Brown, or was Bobby just one of them and the other were just back up?
