  • Brenton's Robotic Palletizing System Maximizes Efficiency
FANUC's Authorized System Integrator Brenton designed this robotic palletizing system to handle extremely heavy cases and pails.
    How the System Works
First, an infeed conveyor pushes products off a case taper discharge conveyor onto a product accumulation/pail orientation roller conveyor. Product is presented in pairs in the robot pick zone, creating the required picks per the assigned build patterns. A FANUC M-410iC/185 robot equipped with a Joulin vacuum end-of-arm-tool (EOAT) picks up to two cases/pails at a time and places them per the assigned build pattern at the palletizing station. The EOAT also handles slip/layer sheets and pallets. A stack light signals operators when the pallet dispenser or sheet bin need to be replenished.
The robotic system maximizes efficiency by handling both heavy cases and heavy pails with the same EOAT.
    M-410iC/185
The M-410iC/185 is part of a long-standing series of robots designed specifically for palletizing. It offers a 185kg payload and 3,143mm reach. This compact four-axis model is capable of high speed palletizing as well as assembly, machine tending and part transfer applications.
