How to connect speakers to a amplifier

- For us it is simple but the young generation never grew up with stereo's and some need guidance . "How to connect speakers" is for some a difficult job but don't underestimate these same persons because they know so much more about mobile phones and computers as the older generation.
I wanted to see how to hook up my speakers but i am sitting here listening to you ramble on about your family 😔
clicked on for same reason
but his nephew is a good guy, whatsamattawithyou.
For real who give a shit about IT shit you didnt explain shit
Thank you
😂😃😆
Love the wholesome tangent on his nephew. Hope he knows his uncle loves him.
Title should be: story about my nephew
came for the explanation, stayed for the wholesome story
😂
I actually watched to the end thinking this guy was gonna redeem himself and give us an actual tutorial. SMH
I scrubbed through, this is worthless.
Damn Cheryl
You made the entire video without showing how to put the wires in. Nice
Glad I saw your comment before I watched.
How's he getting on? Did he get the promotion? We needs to know😁
I was better off before watching this. Now I'm totally lost. Thanks for your lovely family story.
LOL
How is the rest of your fam 😂😂😂
I swear to god 😂😂😂😂, like cmon vintage i came to fix my speakers not to be a psychotherapist.
@@manscv7037 you know what youre comming for on this side of the internet 😂😂
@@leseton I thought i was ready for this side but i was wrong bruh 😂😂🤦🏽♂️💀.
Your very far from the title..
And you got voice like a bass
Thanks for clearing it up!! (Great story about the nephew)
that's such a correct describtion:D
Jump to 2:34, for some good info
Tf bruh, then you miss all the info about his nephew
This is a 5 minute video and 3 minutes in I still have no idea how to connect this damn thing!!! Please don’t make any more videos!! This was a waist of my time! Thanks for nothing
You spent over half of the video talking about your 22 year old IT man
What a waste of my time watching this doesn't even show the back of the speakers
When a person goes to you tube to find out how to do things we don't want wont to hear about your nephew job you give out too much information where a person lose interest. Just get to the Point!,
So he opens the thing with a confusing story. Which leaves you more confused.
what is this a plug for your nephew this is not suposed to be a blog i wana know how to connect my speakers not know your pride still lives in his momma house dude come on
Will you get better sound using 4 speakers and 2 subs than 2 speakers and 1 sub?
Those who can read have a clear advantage, also with this topic, because everything is written there, simple and self-explanatory, it`s as simple as that.
My first experience of not having a dislike count to help me decide not to watch the video
So how do we wire the actual wire into that type of connector?! Is your nephew gonna show us that?
and to make sure the wires are right or you get much less bass if not in phase
I did not get any information on how to connect speakers here.
Pfft nice intro 👍
damn..can we get to the nuts and bolts of this video?
I have a question related to this. Last year I changed my amplifier to a more powerful one. When I turn it on, after the speaker relay clicks in, I now hear some soft shh-wind noise trough my speakers. This is without playing any music. Where does this noise come from? Can I reduce that noise with better cables?
sorry but you shouldn't hear any strange noises coming from the speaker's after turning it on, is the volume control set on minimum ?
@@markrowe8824 Yes the volume is on minimum, actually I can move the volume to any level, it does not affect it this sound
I don't think better cable's will change anything to do with this noise, all you should hear from the speakers once the relay's click is music, any strange noises may indicate a fault within the amp.
I am even more confused after watching this.
What about connecting four speakers to an amp with just one speaker out? I currently just double wired them, but I'm over the max watt output, so I probably need some sort of signal amplifier if I want the full pawer of all four speakers, right?
When you put 2 speakers on one speaker connection and both speakers are 8 ohm they will as 2 togheter draw 4 ohm from that 1 speaker connection. If you use 2!speakers drom 4 ohm you will draw 2 ohm…. Most amplifiers can’t draw 2 ohm, you will blow up the amp on louder volume levels
Also dont connect a 4 ohm and a 8 ohm togheter in 1 speakeroutput
How's the nephews sale record now
OMG I hope this guy will adopt me and be my uncle too!
Go straight to the point
I mean dude this is not helpful. So do you only use the one channel. If you have two speakers do you like how come no one can fucking explain this and only keeps asking like it's really easy but no one can explain it. And by the way I'm 40 and I still don't know if I'm doing it right I never know if I've ever done this right but nobody can explain how to do it correctly nobody
Im relatively young 27, i was just given new surround sound speakers 4 towers and a small sound bar, they are sony, but have a 4.2mm dual pin plastic connecter on the wires and the amp is an old kenwood like late 90s early 2000s old, its my familys old one. I connected the speakers but got no sound, are the speakers just too new for the amp?
Are you related to the guy who made this video?. Relatively young at 27 & you can't even set up a stereo. I was doing that at 14 years old, by the time I was 27 I was married & 3 kids & owned seperates technics hifi . Go out with your single man's money & buy a new half decent system for half a months wage. I ain't rich either. You wasn't given that system he just couldn't be bothered to go to the tidy tip.
lmao i switched off after the first 30 seconds
Nonsense topic, Go directly to your topic, nobody knows your family.
Ik vind je video's echt leuk zou je het ook een keer in het Nederlands willen doen Ik ben benieuwd hoe is
ik heb maar 8% nederlandse subscribers
Ow je bent gewoon nederlands 😂😂😂
yeah I have no idea. which wires go where so here I am
this is supposed to be about audio not the boy lol.
I just bought the Rega IO to use while I wait for the Zen triode 34I.6 integrated amp.
I'm trying to set up a new vinyl system, I can afford 1 Heresy III for now, and intend to be able to get a 2nd by the time the Decware Rachel is ready. Until Then can I run the I/O with just one Klipsch horn speaker in mono?
???you won the lottery,?
@@vintagestereo no I'm going to pay off the amplifier over at 18 month. Do you know the answer to my question how to hook up one speaker to stereo amplifier
mono playing with 1 speaker is not a problem
say hallo to ur nephew and dont post anymore
How do I hook up two 4 ohms speakers to my stereo amplifier
Better don’t do it unless your amp can handle 2 ore 1 ohm
Nice vid. Question: can i bridge such kind of amplifier, so i double the output power? And how to connect if possible?
i hope one of my subscribers can answer you, I never expierience with 2 amps before
Be sure to consult the amplifier manual or research your amp model online to be sure it can be bridged. If your amplifier does not claim to be able to bridge, don't try to bridge it. It may already be bridged internally, and you could cause damage to your amplifier., this is how you bridge an amplifier From the wires coming out of the speaker, connect the positive speaker lead to terminal A (the positive for channel 1) and connect the negative speaker lead to terminal D (the negative for channel 2) if your amplifier is a 4 channel amp just do the same thing
Bloody hell Andrew! I just watched an American UA-camr telling me "How to eat Pork and Beans," and now you're telling me how to connect speakers to an amplifier!
Chew and swallow your Pork and Beans, and ensure your speakers are in phase!
It's NOT Rocket 🚀 Science! 😂
Young people really don't know anything about this stuff, it's my 3rd best watched video
If your nephew as such a good salesman, he should show you how to do a proper presentation.
How important is it to connect the speaker cable - to the - input from the amplifier? Does that matter? And why? Not talking about the channel a/b, im talking about the actually cable from 1 speaker. Thanks! :)
ive pioneer A-656mk2, can i connect klipsch R-51M with it?
yes
@@vintagestereo pioneer A-656mk2 per channel 60watt and klipsch R-51M 85watt will not be a problem?
get to the fuckin point dam
Went a bit off track for half the video but we got to what we wanted to watch. Next time maybe you can talk about bi wire v bi amp and show us a family wedding video. I was waiting for you to follow the wires where the speakers are connected so we had the complete picture. I don't know about those young people you spoke of not knowing much today but I think us oldies can blubber on then forget what we are on about which I think is exactly what's just happened. Nice effort but don't give up your day job.
Can sombody help me.
When i put my aux from my amplifier in my tv (headphone input) i have this sound when it's silent in a movie is there something to fix it??
Sounds like a ground loop problem. I would make sure your tv and amp are connected to the same power strip to avoid the feedback noise
The TV must be output and the aux amplifier input
"an" amplifier
🤣 Wtf .... JFC Slowpoke
Seriously?😵💫
Whew do I connect in?
As clear as mud.🙁
Hello where is the B channel speaker location ? Is it on the sides of the TV or on the rear Back ? Please let me know.
Too confusing....
All i wanted to know is how to connect an amp not ths whole amp
Hi, I have a vintage amp and my output is 16 ohms. I have a single woofer ( 16 ohm) and Tweeter (16 ohm) hooked up to the amp through a cross-over.
My tweeter is toast so I bought a new Tweeter from Pyle ( PH-391) but it is only 8 ohms. How do I wire this into my set up.
My cross-over has a 15 ohm and 33 ohm resistor along with a 3.0 uf Capacitor.
Do these new tweeters even need a cross-over ..I am confused. Any help appreciated.
hi ,, cable is marked an arrow , do i have to follow that direction, from amp to speaker ?
Helpless
Zizek?
no use
Haha. The 'smart' nephew was listening to the right channel on both speakers?
Do you have niece as well ? Tell about her as well please along with other family members as well. People want to listen. Hope everything good. Guy is smart very smart which tells you are not smart at all. Why should we listen to Harry Potter story. Are you ok?
You sound like my pappous
what is color white and blue wire? where is positive and negative?
If both A and B are used, does that mean the impedance is changed ? like if an amp is using 8 ohm for 2 speakers, does that mean it will then changed to 4 ohm if using 4 speakers ??? How about the wattage ? if the amp is rated 65 watt 8 ohm per channel, if A and B is both used does that mean 65x4 or 65 is divided by two for A and B ?
8ohms will be per channel. It does not change if you use four or one. It is the resistance applied between + and - only.
didn't actually show the method of connecting the wires? just the completed job? not what I was looking for, never having seen the type of connectors before
what is channel? is it the speaker itself? im having trouble connecting wires on my jbl studio 2 series loudspeakers. could you help me?
Hey, Thanks..
Tell me please, If i want to connect only single speakers to a single channel... How do you do it? Whats the possibility combination? Thanks
don't cnoonect all your speakers in single channel it can ruin your amp if you want to connect only one speaker in a single channel just hook it up to any speaker terminal of your amplifier
Nice idol.. stay connected
I have a PIONEER SA 6700,and 2 speakers(8 ohm)....How i can connect properly the speakers?Using only A row,or B row?How i can connect in A+B mode?
I own a good number of headphones/iems and the corresponding amps/dacs and I have no idea how speakers connect to stuff.. so yeah, I think this video is warranted.
Where do I put my bass speaker , boss ?
What a joke waffle waffle about his family.... Ignore this video.
Where's the about speakers impedance compatibility to amplifier for running those four speakers?
I wonder how i can connect my earphones to my amplifier? Is there a way to connect my 3.5mm jack to that red black knob? Im experimenting lol
To sum it up, I want to connect my earphones as if its a speakers. I wonder how is that possible
no you can't connect your earphone to your speaker out.
Hi i need a suggestion, how about an 5.1 amplifier which has 85 watt per channel with 5.1 set of 2 tower speaker with subwoofer capacity capacity is 180 watt per speaker& 1 center speaker 120 watt & 2 surround speakers 85 each. Is this a overload to the amplifier or will it be ok for a good clarity music & good life for the amplifier???
your amplifier will only clip if you will turn on the volume knob to far. 80W is very much. more as enough to drive these speakers
@@vintagestereo thank you 💐
Dutch?
Is this is a storytime video about a smart nephew sales guy or how to connect wires to a speaker?
People should get to the point of the topic of the video because TIME IS EXPENSIVE!!!
no so bad bro
try y one more time
and your voice is no cliyer bro try again
nice tips...
How you set the wire ?
Small question, is it possible to run the right speaker from the A terminals and the Left speaker from the B terminals and set the amplifier to A+B is there any benefit to this? Thanks I look forward to your response.
no point in that
The video starts at 2:46
Hi..bro..I have only 2 speakers but I need your tips how to fix into amplifier karaoke.
