    These educational videos from the 40's-50's I think provide credence to the "less is more" principal. Straight to the point and leaves no room for one to overthink.

    Use visual aids, if you swing a heavy blunt object or long sharp object wildly in the air when you are arguing with them, they tend to not talk back as much and appear to listen more.

    Good advice for personal relationships, but not so much for religious and political arguments in public forums.

    • @CK-op7ho
      @CK-op7ho 5 років тому

      The sad thing is, that many of those political arguments are in personal relationships. I keep away from that, but if someone starts in, I can usually end it pretty quickly :)

      Why wouldn't the advice work for political or religious debates? One must have information on the subject (always very important) one must definitely always listen and try to understand, and one must always try to find common ground. Admittedly, it's pretty hard to find common ground sometimes nowadays.

      Sub Marine didn't you learn anything? That was an irrelevant argument and you shouldn't make those. Because sucking the joy out of life by only arguing about "relevant things" (whatever that means) is all one should do lol.

    Jeff liked to argue so he became a lawyer and went pro. Married Suzy Creamcheese who divorced him and cleaned out the bank account. Started having a liquid lunch and then soon eye openers. Moved to Garden City to drop out with a hippy chick in the 70s.

    flat earth map in the beginning lol.

    • @Original_Dalvik
      @Original_Dalvik 4 роки тому +2

      It wasn’t a flat earth map, it was a flat map of the earth shown from the top.

    • @ThePoliticalPitbull
      @ThePoliticalPitbull 4 роки тому +1

      @@Original_Dalvik do you actually own maps, know how to use them, navigate by them or collect them? I do. Its a special projection on multiple sheets. Up until the 1950's flat earth maps were common in schools and library's. Less than 100 years ago many students were still learning it as well as creation. Look at how stupid we have become when we forgot where we live, and who created us.

    • @Original_Dalvik
      @Original_Dalvik 4 роки тому +5

      The Political Pit bull Yes is do know how to use maps and I do use them quite often.
      What I’m saying is, the map isn’t implying that the earth is flat but rather it’s a map where the earth is flat for the purpose of viewing it as a whole.

    • @RuthvenMurgatroyd
      @RuthvenMurgatroyd Рік тому

      @@ThePoliticalPitbull It's a projection of the Earth onto a disk. Look up map projections. This has nothing to do with flat Earth lunacy, the Earth was known to be round since the Ancient Greeks. 🤦‍♂️

    we hated the arguments against the GHWBush version when I was about 5. How weird was that? Honest to God? I liked the anti-argument argument. The older I was at a 4 YO at the time, the more it seemed truly....Deep State? W/O our daddy?
