reskin one and yoyo and probably what i can sum up is the pink girl fell off the cliff by the monster and max killed the monster and it manifested max during it's death so thats maybe why some people swapped their characters during the hallucination/flashback part

Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!! Ngl I had initially low expectations but seriously this blew me away, always wanted a stick fight to this song and you can SEE the 110% effort put into this. Really fantastic production can't wait to see what you make next!!!
I had admittedly low expectations too, seeing the thumbnail made me think it was going to be a bog-level overpowered character and instead i got this and was in awe

This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to learn how to animate well, no matter how long or tortuous it would be on my perfectionistic mind. This was an epic animation, not to mention that is one of my favorite songs.

I love the little lore drops with the fight
With new members having to fight some old / originals members to enter and the characters story’s
I like this. Reminds me of a lot of the old stuff, where everything obviously wasn't perfect but it was more so made for fun. Good stuff 1MAX.
I was unaware Hyun dojo had actual lore, I gotta check this out
Yeah, its called dojo duels.
There isn't really an over arcing narrative going on so you aren't missing out on anything major, but there are alot of characters with a crap ton of back story that tie into other characters, kinda like an arcade run in a fighting game. The locations that certain fights take place in also have tidbits of lore. You can check out the videos on those if you want to (there on this channel) but it isn't really that necessary. (The fights themselves are usually the main focus, the locations are simply just for the sake of having a setting.)
If you need a place to start I suggest you start off with the Gildedguy stories and then work your way around to the other duelist featured on there.
Not only is it a blast to watch, it also helped me learn about certain characters.
At least that's how I started getting into this stuff.

The reason I assume a similar idea is because of how they flash-back into (seemingly) their past and seem to apply their own stress onto the others, n sorta disassociate from themselves into their own enemy?
Its neat as hell to me anyways, and what I said was the best explanation for what I could try and understand w/o just fully going into it.

I like how its not a combo kind of thing but traditional fighting. like blocks and dodges are more shown than actual hits. near the start hyun tried to use an explosion attack but the yellow guy stopped it and hit him. that's good way to counter.

I came for a video and found Gildedguy.
This animation is everything I love about the stick fight animation community.
On one hand, god this is so edgy lmao. When wolf in sheep's clothing started playing I laughed so hard.
On the other, this is genuinely so well made. This creator has an insane amount of potential and I hope they keep making animations and improving. The way they work the camera and the occasional subtle facial expressions were fantastic. Great job!
