- In this series of videos me and my twin brother convert an ex-amazon delivery van which we bought for £2000 from facebook marketplace and we have 10 days to convert this into a campervan that we can live and travel in, around Germany for 6 weeks as we follow England around at the Euros.

Based on the advisories and faults on the MOT I’d have had a mechanic sort it and make it safe before pissing about converting it.
Pissing about is on hold - the mechanic is on his way! 👊
Wish you’d sort out the mechanics of the shed before spending all this time getting it ready, get it running, stick a mattress in the back. Done.
Always modify before you fix something 🤣
i mean for our entertainment its great, but it would be a right shame to have done all this and it wont make it to the end of the road, let alone Germany...

Nice progress! Ive gotten all but the floor sound deadened and ran the 12v wiring for appliances. Floor and insulation are next! hoping to have subfloor by the weekend to do a bare bones camp day.

Yes lads, you bought the perfect van for the mission, faults and all.....Ignore the rust, disregard the MOT history, ditch the full insulation plan, sling a mattress in the back and aim it at Germany. If it breaks down its good content.

I wouldn't touch an ex amazon van with a barge pole I used to drive for them and the vans get so abused this one is surprisingly good on the body work. Makes for good video content

Just a thought that could be useful. If you leave some of the metal exposed, say the first piece that goes from front to back, you could use magnets to hold things up and it'll give you easy access to a place to run the electrics.
Also I need to say " well done for getting some PPE." Those ear defenders, the work dungarees, visor etc will help you so much. 😀👍

Little tip...when cutting the sound deadening for the floor, use a hook blade. It won't go blunt so fast and wont damage the surface underneath.

It takes twice as long to fit things on site... Measure & cut in the workshop then fit in van.
