I met him in 2019 or so, in Ilford, England. I have one of his books autographed. He behaved quite suspiciously in his talk. I looked at him and he looked at me as if I wasn’t supposed to be there, likes he’s seen a ghost. And when I raised my hand to ask questions, he tried to avoid me, but when he couldn’t avoid me, he gave me a wishy washy answer. I think he had certain questioners with certain questions prepared planted in the audience. Also, before his talk he behaves very differently, during his talk he suddenly changes as if he’s performing on stage, and then after the talk he goes back to changing his personality. No there's no concensus on that. There's good number of orthdox sunni scholars who believe it will happen right before the appearance of dajjal and the return of Jesus
I have my differences with him, but on the Constantinople issue, there are Hadiths which talk about its liberation at the time of Dajjal. He is not wrong on that
I'm not a very big fan of the ottomans myself and I'm aware of some of the henious things they did including mehed fatih killing his 9 month old brother because he thought his baby brother might be a threat in the future or rebels might use him as a tool against him. Mehmed fatih was also the sultan who legitimized the law of fraticide where sultans could legally kill their innocent brothers right after them taking the throne without them doing aanything as a precaution so that they can't rebel in the future. The hadith mentions that the king will be a just however he killed his own brother, also Ibn taymiyyah (may allah be pleased with him) said that this hadith is talking about the end of times. And Ibn taymiyyah (may allah be pleased with him) was born before the ottoman empire. However some Ulama says its a weak hadith.

There are several hadith stating that the Island of ad Dajjal isn't anywhere near British Isles. Conversely, there isn't ANY hadith specifically stating that the island being mentioned is Britain. And Allah knows best.

I'm not a very big fan of the ottomans myself and I'm aware of some of the henious things they did including mehed fatih killing his 9 month old brother because he thought his baby brother might be a threat in the future or rebels might use him as a tool against him. Mehmed fatih was also the sultan who legitimized the law of fraticide where sultans could legally kill their innocent brothers right after them taking the throne without them doing aanything as a precaution so that they can't rebel in the future. The hadith mentions that the king will be a just however he killed his own brother, also Ibn taymiyyah (may allah be pleased with him) said that this hadith is talking about the end of times. And Ibn taymiyyah (may allah be pleased with him) was born before the ottoman empire.
However some Ulama says its a weak hadith.
