A Visit To The Midland Railway - Butterley | July 2017

During our tour around the country, we diverted due to an accident on the M1 and saw the signs to this preserved railway. Both myself and the other Steve who was with me hadn't visited here prior, so we decided to call in and have a look around...... and glad we did as it was a thoroughly enjoyable one.
Well worth a visit (when it is allowed to re-open!)

Accidentally clicked on to your profile to find that you like trains! I do too although I haven't visited any railways of late. The last one was Middleton Railway in Leeds which is nearby. Need to get to the York Railway museum. Haven't been in years
