Here is the second part of the Moog Satellite demo. The sounds in this movie may be a bit raw, because it does not show any synth programming art. Nevertheless, it is very interesting if you want to know, how the Moog Satellite actually sounds dry, when you tweak around and how the sliders / buttons affect the sounds.
I am also showing, how every single preset sounds. Enjoy...

Fantastic synth, so smooth. Really basic but it sounds so beautiful.
Hope I will ever get to play or buy a Moog satellite.

Has anyone put a midijack into one of these successfully? I bought one a while back and tried installing it according to the instructions and couldn’t get it to work

There was a Thomas organ sitting in a Tacoma Goodwill. It had a Moog Sattelite in it. It went for $59.

I just got a MOOG Satellite which was stored in a hard case and cosmetically looks great. worked at his house and it seemed to work just fine. I just plugged it in my house and it makes a constant drone sound which can be manipulated via the tabs or the sliders, but none of the actual keys make any sound... the tuner knob on the back turns and I can make an awesome french police car sound, but that is it. It seems like it is stuck in tuner mode, if there is such a mode. Any thoughts?

I am going to have to open the back and look for something obviously wrong... Do u know of any typical issues that mess these things up?

I think no, but you can retrofit it with midi input from Midijack or grab two phone jacks from Radioshack, find and download schematics and make a cv/gate input yourself, but you'd need midi/cv converter. Tip: If you have a Paia Fatman, it has a cv/gate output, so it can be used as a midi to cv converter.
