From Season 3, Episode 7 'The Baby' - Willona and the Evans family are throwing a baby shower for their friend, Loretta. But when she arrives, Loretta delivers startling news: she's going to give the baby up for adoption.

It's ironic that the producers had JJ's character cracking jokes on Thelma's looks, when in all actually, to this day, Thelma arguably, has been one of the finest Black sitcom female characters. I know brothers and sisters are like that, but in my humble opinion, they should've just had him cracking on her cooking only, because every time he cracked on her looks, I used to say " JJ are you out your mind Bruh?
