I'm so glad I discovered and started taking BCAA's. I eat a low carb diet in order to lose more weight (I've lost 100 pounds so far) and to stave off pre-diabetes and get off hypertension meds. I have been lifting for a while and I've really started challenging myself. A week ago, I started getting headaches that would not go away unless I ate. I felt like I could inhale a large pizza. Thanks to BCAA's, I no longer feel that way.
SoMaggieS work w/your doc to taper both carbs & insulin so you don’t induce hypoglycemia. Once you’ve broken the metabolic dysfunction, AND assuming your endogenous insulin is sufficient (measured by c-peptide levels), you COULD look in to BCAA’s. But honestly, if you’re Type II, you have other priorities to work on first, that is restoring metabolic health
After years of taking both i've come to this conclusion. BCAA's helps take the soreness away and protein helps build the muscle with your daily intake because protein is important for building muscle. The end.
Thank you for the clear explanation. So far, I have been pleased with my BPI proteins and BPI amino acids. I have video reviews up of what I have used so far. I look forward to trying more!
I always thought taking protein shakes was enough and BCAA was a waste of money. When I started my cut and decided to do fasted cardio I lost a lot of weight and muscle , I started taking BCAA after watching a fitness icon video who took bcaa 3 times a day! So started taking half a scoop pre workout and 1 scoop during workout and notice less fatigue and longer pumps , also my muscles feel more full and solid. Definitely notice the difference in less than 3 months. You may think this guy is trying to sell you, but science backs him up, plus bcaa are cheap its like 25 dlls it last me around 2 months definitely worth it
great ! the way you explained the whole thing was really amazing . Very easy for a beginner to gain max knowledge out of that . Thank you so very much , for clearing all about BCAAs and Protein :)
The answer is, BCAAs are utilized faster in its "pure form". So it is better to take them when your body really needs it fast. While protein powder has these 3 BCAAs too, but also other AAs but it takes longer for your body to use them
FYI; a sufficiently planned diet with plenty of protein will suffice. Just Google or UA-cam on how long whatever protein (chicken, beef, pork) needs to digest its ammino acids into the bloodstream, and then you'll have a time schedule for when to best exercise. I do personally reccomend supplements like BCAA before a workout, and whey protein shakes for after a hard workout. But don't be obsessed with all this concentrate versus isolated whey protein. That isolate is more effective, hence more expensive, is a supplement industry theory and hypothesis that has not been proven nor disproved. So if your general diet is high in protein, you are calorie counting for fat loss, and you are taking BCAA tablets before a workout, and a whey protein shake after a workout. Then you have done all things within reason to prevent catabolism and gain muscle. So just get what is going on sale. Because you can end up spending more on food supplements than you actually spend on food; which is madness personified.
@@farhadahmadyar7085 no, you can use only one or both. Ice is protein cause it takes more time to become liquid and water is bcaa's because they are already water.
So if one is already eating a lot of meat, eggs, milk, protein shakes every day, would it be a waste of money to purchase extra bcaa or eaa supplements?
Here's an article kind of proving BCAA's may be beneficial to muscle protein synthesis, but does not sustain, and lacks limitations as the 3 branch amino acids as transmitters will compete, as it lacks all Essential Amino Acids via resistance post workout.A physiologically-significant increase in the rate of muscleprotein synthesis requires adequate availability of allamino acid precursors. The source of EAAs for muscleprotein synthesis in the post-absorptive state is the freeintracellular pool. Intracellular free EAAs that are avail-able for incorporation into protein are derived frommuscle protein breakdown. Under normal conditionsabout 70% of EAAs released by muscle protein breakdownare reincorporated into muscle protein. The efficiency ofreincorporation of EAAs from protein breakdown backinto muscle protein can only be increased to a limited ex-tent. For this fundamental reason, a dietary supplement ofBCAAs alone cannot support an increased rate of muscleprotein synthesis. The availability of the other EAAs willrapidly become rate limiting for accelerated protein syn-thesis. Consistent with this perspective, the few studies inhuman subjects have reported decreases, rather than in-creases, in muscle protein synthesis after intake ofBCAAs. We conclude that dietary BCAA supplementsalone do not promote muscle anabolism. (PDF) Branched-chain amino acids and muscle protein synthesis in humans: Myth or reality?. I'm an avid fan of this BCAA I'm an ectomorph with a mesomorph frame, I have a super duper high basal metabolic rate. It is hard for me to gain muscle because my body keeps converting my muscles into energy because of my rapid fire anabolism. So I need to meet my daily caloric needs which is hard because I have a low ghrelin. This supplement helps me to avoid muscle break down, it works for me we'll because of my body type. I got a significant percievable result in just one month. For anyone with the same high metabolic rate as I am and wants to build muscle, dude this supplement is the one that we are missing
Ok well there arent 80 amino acids there are only 22 in nature and with 20 encoded by the universal genetic code in himans and all other species the other 2 are selenocysteine and pyrrolysine which can be added into polypeptide chains by secondary mechanisms

you incorrectly state that catabolism/anabolism is creating/breaking down cells! the correct meaning is you create molecules (eg. proteins) or break down molecules. cells & molecules...big difference :)
