"Ok, really?!" 🤣 My exact reaction. For a company with so many interesting and unique inks, I'm perplexed by their decision to go so basic on this calendar. I love blue, but I'm really all set. 😂Begging for a green, a brown, an orange, a purple - something else!
Yep, I, too, want a few more colors besides blue (although I love blue and this one is particularly nice). Did you know that Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell discovered pulsars as a graduate student in the late 1960’s? Her advisor received the Nobel Prize but she wasn’t one of the recipients. She ended up receiving the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics in 2018 which was worth a lot more than the Nobel Prize. She gave all of her prize to student scholarships to promote greater diversity in physics. I idolized Dame Bell Burnell as an undergraduate. In my current position, I have given a talk with Dame Bell Burnell and see her every couple of years. She is an absolutely delightful person! See you tomorrow!!
I didn't know any of that! Thank you for sharing. I know that too frequently the discoveries of women have been uncredited, and it's good to see some change happening now. 🥰
Yeah, right there with ya on the Bluevent lean of the Coloverse Colorvent. Tho, I do LOVE Pulsar Pulse.....and adore blue in general....but like you said, this is a LOT of blue
I'm so split on the ink! On one hand, it's a stunning ink, and if they offer it stand-alone after the holidays, I'll probably buy it...even though I already have so many blue inks. On the other hand, especially on the monthly calendar, the colors do look unbalanced and maybe a tad boring up to this point. I'm really debating this ink versus the Red Horizon as my favorite so far. Major the Cat says good morning, he's in my lap. He enjoyed your singing "Welcome to Colorvent, Day 14!"...his head spun around to look and he did a slow blink at the screen / speakers. He seems indifferent on this ink, I need to go back and find the ink he got entranced with earlier as I can't recall what it was. Well no more Major, someone rattled the food bowl and off he went. 3D printers are a lot of fun - I've 3D printed bottle holders for the small square Diamine and gave them away to pen friends at the office. I'd design one up, but I don't have a bottle to measure. I'll have to borrow pen bestie's Rocket City Red (I think that's it? My CRS...wow...) to measure and see what I can come up with. HEY MARIA, YOU'RE DOING GREAT! 🥰🥰🥰😻😻😻
Hey you're doing great, too! This collection of colors certainly shows some remarkable restraint. Nothing too outlandish. There's still time for them to really wow us. Scritches to Major the Cat. 😻🥰
Hi Maria, a Blue! It’s a Blue! I don’t know if it’s targeted to FP newbies who don’t have inks….. I don’t count that as an excuse 😂 Diamine did the calendar for years now and it’s way more versatile in color scheme. But- I still enjoy your videos every day!
"The bluevent" 😂. So funny and at the same time so sad. I am so disappointed of the Colorvent. I thought that they were going to be more bold with their elections of colors because they were going to be the new kid in the block at a higher price tag.
@@MariaRosseau me too, at least not that amount of blueish inks. Blue inks are my favorite and I have collected a lot of samples of blue inks and the Colorvent was going to be my way to try other inks colors that I would not usually buy... guess it didn't result that way for me 🙈

Well, the first color was a great orange! But yes, I agree with the sentiment. Variety is the spice of life. 🥰
I like colorverse inks...five blues strains a little bit.
I have been trying to remember how many blue inks of theirs I own... And I think it's 5. 🤔😅🥰

That's awesome 🙂

Yes, we are trying to change!! So important to uplift individuals who haven’t historically been recognized for their contributions to science!!
👍👍👍😃😃

A lot of beautiful blues! Maybe someone should check on Colorverse. Maybe they're a little bit down, a bit... blue. 😅🤣🥰

I never hear the background noises - but my hearing ain't great and since the family is mostly not up, I don't have the volume up too much. 😝

Well and the funny thing to me is that Colorverse's regular lineup feels more varied! 😅🥰
I wonder what the percentage of blue ink is relative to other colors in a larger context is?
On the last day or in a wrap up I'll have to do the math. 😅🤣🥰

I wasn't sure what exactly I expected from the range of colors... But it seems I was expecting a bit more diversity. 😅🥰
