I laughed when you opened the little door and uh BLUE, surprise! Too funny! I think my fave so far is that gold yellowish color the other day. I like those murky colors. And why do you use lighter on yiur dip pen? It’s been bugging me to ask?
I knew that sunbeam color would be the absolute perfect for some folks. ☺️ Putting a lighter to the dip nib helps it work better with fountain pen ink. I think basically the nib gets this light coating of hand oils and then the ink doesn't want to stick enough to work, because the viscosity of it isn't quite right. Other things folks do to accomplish this are wipe it with some alcohol or stick it in a potato. 🤣
So...I'm a sucker for teal/turquoise inks so I'm digging it, a lot. But yeah, THREE BLUES IN A ROW COLORVERSE? Where's the "yawning" emoji? I can't find it. I mean don't get me wrong, I love the past two blues, but I think three blues in a row is a little much. And I don't get the under-the-sea relation to the space theme. This is just out there. Major the Cat purrs his hellos, he's in my lap. He is not impressed with this ink at all.HEY MARIA - YOU'RE DOING GREAT! 🥰🥰🥰😻😻😻

I appreciate your disposition and sense of humor about all the blues. I stopped watching another channel because the content creator threw a tantrum because of the lack of variety and because they weren't getting the colors they wanted. I understand being disappointed, but by day 8, the constant negativity made their videos disappointing and no fun to watch. I purchased the calendar this year and I've enjoyed experiencing opening the calendar with others in the community. However, I've heard a lot of the same concerns about the lack of real variety in the inks. I have a feeling Colorverse is going to have some work to do convincing people to buy their Colorvent calendar if they have one next year.
I agree about you thoughts around a calendar from them for next year! Also, personally, I get these calendars because it's nice to have a little fun ritual every day. My life has been incredibly stressful of late and having a little inky fun is a good relief for me. But I can imagine that for others, being disappointed by something that they were looking forward to as a relief would be even more frustrating! I’m happy with them all, tbh - all of the blues so far are different. Also, getting 24 Colorverse 15ml bottles for half price isn’t that bad…
