In my opinion they have done at least 5 versions of Enter Sandman now. Last month they did 3 full production shows in Mexico where they had a string section from a symphony join them on stage for a few songs including this one. They also debuted 2 new songs that have not been released yet and they rock very hard.

They could had done a straight cover of the song but they already did that 9 years ago when they were children (the bassist was 9 back then), that would had been too easy, so they did a revamp of the song instead. Because this girls don't do anything by half-measures.
Hey Dude! This reimagination of Enter Sandman they did in just 8 days, start to finish, with Alessia Cara in Canada working with The Warning and producer Matt Squire in Mexico, during covid lockdown. And Dull Knives is the best 3 minutes in rock! As for guitar solos, Dany does them when they fit the song. There are a half dozen or more great solos by Dany in there songs, and it is apparent that her guitar idols are David Gilmour and Brian May! Her solos are melodic and soulful! Have fun on this journey down The Warning rabbit hole! You will quickly become a full fledged member of The Warning Army (TWA)!
If you're not aware, back in 2014 Dany, Pau and Ale recorded a video in their basement practice studio called The Warning Cave doing a straight cover of Enter Sandman. It went viral...and now has over 25 million views. That launched their band, getting them a lot of interviews including the Ellen show, a trip to Berklee College of Music...and we're three albums later. Eight or so years after that cover of ES, they were asked to collaborate with Alessia Cara on a new version for the Metallica Blacklist album. Metallica specifically asked that they do something different with it. Break it apart and put it back together. From that moment in 2014 they have written ALL their own songs and their catalog is already 50+ of originals over 3 LPs, an EP and a couple of singles. Dull Knives, from their second album, was played live during a virtual concert and Lzzy Hale saw it and asked that they open for her.
Its the blacklist album version, Metallica for the 30th anniversary qsked 50+ artist to pick a song forn that album snd do whatever they wanted (only keeping the lyrics intact) si rhe warning partnered with alessia Cara (Canadian singer ) rearrange this version and end up doing an eerie hauntingly lullaby that was originally to be it is one of the best versions in the album
Welcome to The Warning ! Yes Daniela (guitar) does not do too many leads... but when She does they are tasty like all get out... nothing fancy / crazy let's see how many sweeps we can do in a row...... just perfect for the song ! Cheers !!
Enter Sandman riff woes: They were asked to compose a version for Metallica's anniversary Blacklist tribute album. Instead of dumbly covering it like 100000 people have done, they basically deconstructed the song and rebuilt it from the ground up from their style. They of course dropped in one of the most classic riffs in metal at the end. Also of note: The Warning went viral at ages 9, 12, and 14 on UA-cam with a cover of Enter Sandman that was a "by the notes" cover. It has 25 million views and is inspiring and cute as hell.
dull knives is a song from the concept album 2018 "queen of the murder scene" . The drummer Paulina sing two song as the lead Singer "Dust to dust" and "The End" and another one co-lead with Dany the guitar lead singer "sinister smiles" At the same concert you watch enter sandman and Dull knives you may watch Dust to Dust
Awesome reaction!! These ladies never disappoint. Danny does a sweet guitar solo in the live version of "Z" at this same concert. Worth checking out!! Happy to be a new subscriber!! 🎸🎶👊🏼🎶
I have seen The Warning live 4 times, 3 in small venues. I highly recommend seeing them, especially in a small venue, since you won't be able to for much longer.
"Dull Knives (Cut Better)"... Putting yourself in context is very important because it is basic to know that this song is part of the tremendous masterpiece: "Queen of the Murder Scene"... It's a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️
The energy of ttheir band is so infectious; it's impossible not to get swept up in their sound. I now need to see you react on October Ends's new song Dark 😍
Nice Reaction! On Enter Sandman, Metallica told the bands to not just play the songs like Metallica did for the Blacklist Album. They wanted them to turn them upside and flip them around. They did this with a Pop singer out of Canada named Alessia Cara. It's her voice in background harmonies. They made a video of this song, but it's better live. They just celebrated their 10th Anniversary as a band. Ale, the Bass player, was just 8 years old when they started. They are now Dany (guitar) 23, Pau (pronounced Pow, Drums) 21, and Ale (Bass) 18 years old.
A common complaint from the earliest days has been that Dull Knives is too short. Even their father wanted them to make it longer. They tried a few things, such as a solo and a third chorus, decided that all of them made it worse, and suggested that people simply put it on repeat. In the context of the album, it makes perfect sense; a third repeat of the chorus simply would not make sense with regards the story line. Advice that entire divisions of The Warning Army have taken to heart. To me it speaks to their wisdom and judgment that they resisted the temptation to add more to it (but do feel free to listen to More, particularly the MTV VMA version, which is much heavier than the music video). A true compact gem of a head banger. If you were impressed by Pau's (drummer) backing vocals here, listen to Dust to Dust and 23 where she sings lead, and Disciple where she splits the lead vocal with Dany and sings the prechorus through a huge fill the second time through (they also split the vocal lead in Survive). Dany does play guitar solos, but only when they add to the song. She rarely shreds -- she did a lot more of that in their very early days, before they started writing their own music -- but she does have some very nice solos, but they're mostly more along the lines of what David Gilmour or Brian May would play. She has to play both lead and rhythm, although Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-leh) on bass is a superb bassist who really fills in when Dany does take a solo. Queen of the Murder Scene (which I expect you'll really like), Z, Martirio, and Narcisista that I can think of from this concert have solos. At this concert, Beto Ramos (one of Pau's mentors on drums) took the kit to let Pau sing it from the front, but she normally sings it from behind the kit.
They actually do guitar solos in some songs. They mainly approach songs from the point of view of what the song needs more than from a desire to show off or force some mandatory meaningless notes into the mix. When Dany does play there’s a point and you feel it. I toured and played with groups for about 28 years and I wish some of the musicians I played with had thought this way.
The Warning es como los grandes y viejos grupos del Rock, talentosos, con pasion y dando todo en el escenario , en el tema de Dull Knives y Enter Sandman lo demuestran ,TW, son maestras del riff
re: this concert version of DPA/TW's reimagined *Enter Sandman* DPA/TW and Alessia Cara certainly understood the assignment! Alessia Cara is a Grammy winning Canadian R&B and Pop singer... they had 10 days to rip this rendition of *Enter Sandman* from the ether and make it a darker, more eerie, and a more haunting lullaby than the original metal version... this was done because they, and many other artists from numerous genres, were invited by Metallica to take one of the songs from the original "Black" album, keep the lyrics and change it up how ever you like... play it backwards, upside down, whatever... this was all for the 30th anniversary of the "Black" album... all the submissions from 50someodd artists were put on the 2021 "The Metallica Blacklist" album... the proceeds from the album sales are split 50/50 with half going to Metallica's "All Within My Hands Foundation" and the other half being donated to a charity of the participating artists' choice. the version they play in concert has Dany doing the vocals with a backing track of Alessia's ohhhs and ahhhs... of course Ale and Pau join in with their angelic harmonies... it is a fantastic reimagining of the iconic original... this 60+ year old rocker loves both versions of *Enter Sandman* but this one by TW and Alessia gets more airtime these days 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Cool reaction. They do have some songs with guitar solos, off the top of my head there is Z, Queen of the Murder Scene and Narcissista (lead vocals sung in Spanish by the drummer) and others. As mentioned the drummer takes lead in several songs and Dust to Dust is one of my favorites where she sings lead. Also, The Warning don’t have a bad song, my least favorite is MORE but that’s mostly because the rest of their catalog is so good.
Dany does solos lol ..depends on the song. Queen of the murder scene has a great solo and so does Z , 21st centry blood , when im alone ect ... she not only is sn excellent rhythm guitar player , shes masterful in her leads. Not every song needs a lead section and Dany does more of a lead riff type thing id say more than actual lead solos. Shes well advanced across the board ,she doesnt show off. She skillfully puts exactly what is needed for a particular song
I have a life to live and therefore don’t spend most of my time on the internet. But when I do it is going to be The Warning, baby!! For me, they are better than any other band out their. Everyone has their own opinion, this is mine!!! They are the only band on my playlist also, no bad songs!!!🔥⚡️
Check out the official video for XXI Century Blood from their first album and Queen Of The Murder Scene from their second (concept) album (live Teatro Metro) and Disciple from their latest album (live Teatro Metro) They're always better live, but that first video is a masterpiece. Maybe you will understand this argument. If I listened to every reaction to every song by ALL the reaction channels that I am subscribed to, I would need a hundred hours each day. One simply cannot spend the entire day and watch the entire content of each reaction channel. On the other hand, a popular music artist will get your undivided attention for many hours every day. It is virtually impossible to build and maintain any type of reaction channel if you simply ignore and/or abandon a popular artist's fanbase. The reason is that reaction channels are NOT talent. They are basically a reaffirmation of a particular artist's popularity. That's reality. Good luck anyway with your endeavors.
Look at my pinned comment. We are more than just a music reaction channel. We do so many different things. Hope you can enjoy the other stuff that we do here
Wonderful that you enjoy the warning as much as you do. But featuring the hottest power trio in a decade, and stopping your reactions to them, risks thousands of current and future potential subscribers. I have never seen a reactor do that. I spent my entire career in marketing and can say that giving your audience what they want is 100 times more important than giving you what you want. If growing your channel is important, pay attention to what the fans ask for. Peace out.
Check my pinned comment. The idea is to do a couple reactions and then go listen to them on my own. We are more than just a reaction channel. I hope you can enjoy our other content as well. But reacting to more The Warning is going to happen.
So i guess you don’t like them? I’m just kind of confused lol. …maybe not last reaction but last reaction until you’ve enjoyed more of their music and then react to new content from them in the future? I think that’s what you were actually kind of getting across, right? I get that
But, must he say this will probably be his last reaction? He could have said he wanted to explore more of their music to get to know them and their style better.
Check my pinned comment. I usually only do a couple reactions and then I want to personally listen to them on my own. I hope you stick around. We are more than just a reaction channel.
Great reaction but to say this will be your last reaction to the The Warning may lose your new subscribers including the ones that already subscribed including mine. Fun fact we subscribe for the reactions so if there are no new reactions there's no point in subscribing. Or you could just do multiple reactions so you can listen at the same time. Best of luck nonetheless. Now if I misunderstood my apologies but I'll check up on you to see what you decide.
Did three reaction videos for VOB, and nothing was mentioned about being the last reaction to them." Did two reaction videos to The Warning and then said, "This will probably be my last reaction to this band."

Peace out.
Yeah I don’t get it bro.. maybe we will get more reactions next year🤘
Check my pinned comment. The idea is to do a couple reactions and then go listen to them on my own. We are more than just a reaction channel. I hope you can enjoy our other content as well. But reacting to more The Warning is going to happen.
If you want solos check out Z, queen of the murder scene. Ugh, when in alone ,thier Spanish songs narcisista and martirio
good reaction but you will get a lot of views reacting to this band more… or maybe you don’t care about views and thats ok 🤘
Look at my pinned comment. And it's a bit of both. I do this to find new music. If it hits, it's awesome. If it does not, I don't go crazy over it.
Yeah, I sub only if they have done several TW reactions and are going to continue.
Did three reaction videos for VOB, and nothing was mentioned about being the last reaction to them." Did two reaction videos to The Warning and then said, "This will probably be my last reaction to this band."
Check my pin
@@BeerNightYTshowAt time I tapped the vid it’s not pinned
@@torresilk4277 check it now. It should be pinned. Basically leave a comment for 1 song from each album I should check out and I will react to it.
How to kill a Channel in 5 seconds. I am sorry you felt the need to stop reactions to The Warning.
Check my pinned comment. So if I like a band though my reactions I usually will do a couple more and then go listen to the band on my own. But this time I think I will do it differently
@@BeerNightYTshow The thing is we subbed to hear all Warning songs. We are The Warning Army. We didn't sub to hear Brace pot or any other bands, We subbed to hear your reactions from the warning.
@@larrybutler8948 so I should react to every song? And then when I'm done, you would unsub. There is other music out there.
@@BeerNightYTshow It is your Channel, do as you want. I promise with their Catalog you will never run out of Material. You do not realize what The Warning is all about yet.
@@BeerNightYTshow Let me just end it with this. I am 75 and have been listening to Rock and roll when Alan Freed coined the Term Rock and Roll.
I have been listening to The Warning for just over 5 years and have never run out of songs to listen to by them, and I watch Daily all day. You are not the first Channel to have committed suicide.
Now go listen to XXI Century Blood Music Video. It won 4 Major Awards and was written by two pre-teen and one Teen.
Watch yr subscribers drop off when you say its yr last . . . . The only reason you got them was because of T Warning fans . . Now you got yr subs yr droping the reason people joined . . Basicly using us for click bait to improve yr chanel . . The point of us being here is to watch you react to songs most know and to see by your reactions how we felt when we first heard these talented sisters .
Youl learn more about the band and sooner because wel tell you . . .
Good luck . . .
Check my pinned comment. Also I had no idea this band would take off in subs and views. Check most of my reaction videos. Some have only a couple hundred views. And we are more than just a reaction channel. Hope you can enjoy our other content as well.
too late bye.@@BeerNightYTshow
Great reaction. Disliked and unsubscribed because no future Warning vids. Will be back if that changes. Enjoy your beer, though.
Check my pinned comment before you do all that.
Too late, my man. Bye.
@Tobyc1315 wow byeeeee
6:34 You make a comment about the classic riff seconds before it happens. Yeah, I’m not buying that this was your first time watching. I’m out.
So in my head, I was thinking, where is the riff? I have to admit, though, it is perfect timing, and it may look like i planned it. I'm always honest. In my Evolve reaction, I said I have listened to the song before but did not remember much of it cause I was drunk. But if you don't believe me, oh well.
The Warning, The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
