Their full re-design of Enter Sandman is magnificient, IMHO. You may check also the official video with Alessia Cara, its style is pretty neat (B/W, the location, the shots, etc.). Great reaction, BTW.

This is the cover song that originally got me introduced to The Warning back in 2014, and I have been following them ever since. My first attempt to see them live was May of 2020, and we all know what happened to those concerts. I finally got to see them live in May of 2022, and they did not disappoint. I am a 67 yo rocker that grew up hearing the great rock from the 60s and 70s, and these girls (women) remind me of all the concerts I attended during that time. They don't have fireworks to enhance there show, it's just them playing their instruments and singing and having a great time doing it.
Music and performing are their DNA. They are where they should be and doing what they should be doing. Only after a couple of videos it's easy to understand why TWA is so supportive and passionate about them. We want them to succeed and to see their fan base grow. Not just because of their musical talent, but because of them as people. Off stage they are nice, sweet, humble, funny, and polite (I could add a lot more adjectives, but you get my point). Dany's progression on the vocals is astonishing when you can see 2014 and 2022 one after the other. The voice naturally matured, but all the work with their vocal coach really shows.
Justin, welcome the The Warning rabbit hole. So glad you you decided to join us here. Yep, you got the right videos (and yes, they were 14, 12, and 9 in the original). These young women really have hit on something that has many of us rockers, young and old, sitting up and paying attention. This pair of tracks is a great way to see how far they have come. I just got back from a weekend seeing them in New York in Philadelphia before they left for Europe. They really are that good live. One of their patrons, Gman, has called them a studio-quality live band. Really good description. Anything you lsiten to from the Teatro Metropolitan show is fantastic. Great recording, even better performance. I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Dany very sweetly puts you to bed, then rouses the troups, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time. I love this one. As others have said, the official music video with Alessia Cara is also a very good watch. You may be interested in joining us on The Warning's Patreon. They have a tier starting at $1USD per month. The Discord server is a really good place if you want to learn and stay engaged.
When I was younger I did a lot roadie work for bar/wedding cover bands (free beer was most of my pay) and The Warning were better than a lot of "professional" bands even when two of them weren't even teens yet. Still a bit raw but not by much and not grown fully into their voices they still give a solid performance. Now they just rock. As young as they still are we can look forward to much, much more in the years ahead.
I consider their blacklist version to be a TW original, it is that different, and that good. I am calling it, they'll go down in history as one of the greatest rock bands ever, and not just because of their music, which is awesome, but also because of who they are, as people. And I love it when Dany goes gritty.
For a song that absolutely didn't need another cover their deconstructed version is absolutely the way to go. But their original content is the best. Especially live. Fortunately there are quite a few pro-shot live performances to check out. Lunario CDMX, Foro DiDi, Whiskey A Go Go, Teatro Metropolitan, and some studio live sessions
Metalica asked The Warning to cover, mashup or what ever they wanted, Enter Sandman for the 'Metallica Blacklist-album'. The Warning was given one week to deliver the song which they did. It ended up as the very first song on this album. 👍👍👍🤘
The WARNING BAND ..the sisters are AMAZING. I LOVE ❤️ their SONG in Spanish “MARTIRIO”. Thanks for sharing your REACTION and viewing the one version that was intended for their grandparents to see how they were doing with their instruments. It blew up after it was posted. 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸💫❤️🔥🙌🏽
Their cover done in 2014 was a one take recording. Daniela was worried about the guitar solo, and as they approached the end of the song they were thinking, "Don't mess up" because they would have to do the entire song over. But, they nailed it. It should have been a bit raw sounding as this was a live session and not a studio recording. If you watch the official music video ES for the Blacklist album, you will hear how true they are live to the studio recording. This is true for all their live performances. They are on point live to the studio recording.
Wow!! Have not listened to Rock for years (I’m 70). Somehow The Warning popped up on my UA-cam feed. Incredible!! Then your analysis followed. I’m now a Warning supporter and have subscribed to your channel. They are incredibly talented and obviously love performing. Keep it going. You have no limits!!
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!! At the time they did the first video they were 14, 12 and 9 yo. Amazing! The second version was made completely in just one week!! EPIC live performance ending in a supernova! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Loved your reactions!! And to think... this all started because their email service said this video file was too large to send to their grandparents, so their father posted it on UA-cam and sent a link instead. The rest, as they say, "is history". And a lot of dedication, passion, and hard work, every day. These young ladies embody pretty much what I've always loved about Mexico, really. I can't really get deeply into it, because that would take a whole multi-page essay, which is really not for a "comment" area of this platform... but they just *do* . Long story short, my best friend since I was 8 years old (and I'm just about 60 now) is of Mexican descent; his family is my "second family", and I've spent a LOT of time roaming the backroads there, off-roading and just... exploring. And one of the things I've always loved about the place is the _people_ . Not the celebrities, not the politicians, not the "fat cats"... but the lady with a grill cart on the side of the road, hawking one-peso quesadillas and a soda (your choice). While maybe a born into a bit more comfortable of a surrounding, the Villareal sisters are cut from _precisely_ the same mold. These ladies seized an opportunity, without giving up their background, culture, and personalities - and made THEMSELVES "great". I think _that_ is why so many of us fans love them. Their musical brilliance and talent are fantastic, to be sure... but they _built_ it all; constructed it piece by piece, with unending passion and desire, and the support of their family and close friends. Enjoy the rabbit hole you have found yourself following; you will NOT be disappointed.
So Teatro means theater in Spanish. The venue’s name is Teatro Metropolitan (the Metropolitan Theater) not just Teatro. It was an old movie theater that was converted to a concert venue. In the old days people went to the theater to escape the heat since most homes were not air conditioned and theaters were. Movie theaters were far and few between so they were large.
Their version is amazing. The harmonies, the growls, the dynamics.. the way it starts out softly and builds with each verse until the finale where they go into the iconic riff... pure genius actually.
Hey hey... thanks for the shoutout! You cannot go wrong staying with these Teatro Metropolitan live concerts but don't sleep on their earlier stuff. It is all amazing! 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡😍😍😍
I have forgotten just how exactly on time point Ale was on this...at age 9 and with a bass that was pretty much as big as she was. She wanders around the fretboard with such ease. The biggest difference in musicianship is Pau goes from a drummer that is singing to a singer that is drumming.
Great reaction. You won’t get blocked by their music video of this song. Lot of reactions out there of it. Also a bit different as Alessia Cara sings part if it. Keep it going
The pedantry in me has to explain: Teatro just means theatre. Teatro Metropolitan CDMX translates to Metropolitan Theatre, Mexico City. I’ll go back in my box now 😁
There are also 2 versions of their first songs. Presentation of the first time played live and at the dakota bar years later. i can provide links if you want and TWA will help too.
Best new band out there. I can’t get over that the saviors of hard rock/metal they are 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Damn they are good and it doesn’t hurt that they look good too. You watch this video and it just brings a smile to your face. Their song Disciple is really good too. (Live at Teatro).
the all-female rock group , called The Warning, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart. greetings from Mexico.
Almost certainly someone else has broken down their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene. It was done independently by them and they played it live at Lunario CDMX for the first time about 5 years before the concert you've watched so far (Dany at 18, Pau at 16 and Ale at 13, almost 14 I believe). Highly suggest watching it in order to see the story unfold as it is a concept album. Playlist for you to make it easy :) ua-cam.com/play/PLUfG0LGi-nHh-HynN52P1hf6z59emt3G6.html
Offset Era did a breakdown of the entire Lunario concert if you're interested. ua-cam.com/play/PLW5MzvzhVX8Ps01blm3kpIBDt6jtHGTxD.html&si=iBNgl2vppg3bE8QU
I enjoyed this reaction very much, Justin. The older one is integral to their story, and all of their videos from Teatro Metropolitan are decidedly outstanding. Having said that, it bothers me a bit that so many diehard fans urge reactors to skip the official music video, which involves the studio version with Alessia Cara that appeared on the Metallica Blacklist album. Not only is it quite excellent, but it's very important to their story. I suspect those diehard fans are simply pushing the version they like best, but I sincerely doubt many of them skipped the studio version and its video. Reactors should be aware of this kind of tendency when considering recommendations. There are only a small handful of songs in history that should be consumed live before the studio version, and this isn't one of them.
I really like your reactions because your joy for music comes across genuinely. The Warning Army are very passionate because we love their music, but also because we love them as persons. You will do too.
They did not change it 'to make it their own', they were invited by Metallica to participate in their Blacklist project in which they invited a list of artist to make their own version of a song from their Black Album to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
This is them in front of 3100 people. Check them out in the MTV We Speak Music live version of Evolve, in front of 60,000 people, when opening for Foo Fighters. They play like they're the headliner.
The official video to the never version is a cooperation with canadian singer Alessia Cara and worth listening to as well - well, maybe not as a reaction video since you already did 2 versions ... and there is way more interesting stuff to discover in this rabbit hole. Most fans will be hinting at their never stuff, but I am a sucker for their second album, the Queen of the Murder Scene. An instant legendary hard rock concept album telling the story of the main characters journey from unrequitted love to obsession, murder, madness and death. The songs are meant to be listened in the album order, and you can find all of them here on youtube - I suggest the live versions from their Lunario CDMX show were Dany slips into the title charaters role in a creepily convincing way. They made progress in their singing and playing since then, but I just cant criticise the Queen of the murder scene - you cant criticise perfection 🤟🖖 Then there is their TedX at the university of Nevada, absolutely worth watching - my favorite Pau-performance on the drums during "Unmendable" - by far not my favorite song of theirs, but Pau's passion on the drums is mesmerizing and infectuous! ... and then, not to forget their video of "XXI Century Blood" ... ...damn, it's time to stop before I suggest their entire list of songs 😂
So many amazing Music vids on YT to choose from, official live vids, studio vids, produced Music vids, and thousands of Live Fan vids. None of them are bad IMO. Then there is the vlogs, after movies, behind the scenes vids, Interviews galore, fan made vids (guilty), Shorts, concert promo's, and that's just UA-cam. They have content on just about every single social media platform there is, but prefer to use IG for most all lives. Yes, they do lives a lot. Don't even get me started on their massive Patreon. You can get lost there for months, same as YT. In other words, this is a super massive deep rabbit hole, if you choose to go down it....... You have been Warned. 🤘⚡🤘
The official video is the version that is on Metallica's 30th Aniversary Black List album. The black list version feat. Alessia Cara (Canadian POP and R&B artist). She only sung with TW, in person once. In a live concert in California. The album version was written, produced and sent to Metallica in one week. TW in Mexico and Alessia in Canada (Pandimic). The first is their 2014 viral video. That basically started them on going professional. The Gibson Explorer she plays on this song was given to Dany by Lzzy Hale, last fall while on tour with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and Lilith Czar. Their is a video.
Pau has taken her background harmonies to another level. In the soft part "Hush now baby..." with every iteration she ramped up the power on top of Dany's main vocal. At a higher scale too. Unfortunately the video editing doesn't do justice to her singing in this song. At times focussing on Ale when it was Pau adding her background vocals in layers. Ale maintained her soft lower range when necessary - at times barely audible due to editing.
Nice Reaction! They are on Tour right now and just did their first show ever in Europe at Plymouth, England (5/27/2023) opening up for Muse (their favorite band). Now they are off to Germany for 3 shows and then touring around the rest of Europe, doing some of the Rock Festivals, until 6/26.
Thanks for doing both videos at the same time Justin, we do appreciate it! Please keep them coming in the future, we will be watching and subscribing!!!👀🔥🤘⚡️
Justin, it's funny that even after hearing those covers many, many times I still find myself sitting and thinking about what I just heard. That's how I feel after most of their songs."MARTIRIO"is my favorite even though, I don't speak Spanish, it's just powerful. The drums & harmonies get me every time.. The song "REVENANT" Left me speechless. The drummer PAU sings that one..try the official lyrics video. I love "ANIMOSITY" Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX.. SEE YA..TWA🤟🎶☮️
The first version 2014 was recorded for their grandparents but was too long for an email, so the uploaded to you tube and it was never meant to be public but it did go public and went viral. The2022 version will show their immense progress as musicians and performers. In the early version I was totally captivated by Pau's intensity on the drums. Such concentration for a young girl. I had read that Dani was 12, Pau was 10, and Ale was 9 at the time.
This is the proper way to react to them. The transition, the change, and the maturity that you can see is amazing. They were good for their age when they were young, but, wow. What they are now. The best rock band out there.
The Warning is dope!!! Lots of material here for a deep dive. I would highly recommend their offical video for 21st Century Blood, a song of their first album. The second album, Queen Of The Murder Scene is a hard hitting Rock novel concept album. In my opinion, it is the best concept album ever! By any band.
You do need to at least watch the official video with Alessia Cara. It's a masterpiece. In time you'll start liking their version better than the original. These ladies can seemingly do no wrong. New sub. I LOVE THIS BAND!! 🤘😎👍
Well, since all of the comments are well over a year old, i'll just gonna go ahead and say that they brought a string session to their 10th anniversary band in pepsi center concert for this and a couple of Pau's songs and its on another level. They improve by the day, its crazy and its definetly worth checking it out. Btw, awesome video Justin :D
Really liking your reactions to them. I have watched a LOT of reactions and done my own and yours are really balanced and informed. Good job dude. Have fun!
I will quote you for this: "do YOU, be YOU, back yourself and do what mooves YOU, be a light for others and do what makes you proud." I think that they have. Great reaction.
As a fellow Aussie, I recognize your Grinspoon top you Champion, so I'm Ready 1 for more of The Warning reactions, as they're are a Hard Act to Follow.
now do Dust to Dust Live from 5 years ago. Welcome to a great rabbit hole!! Now do Dust to Dust LIve from 5 years ago...! I just first heard of them last year and then saw them LIVE last week in Daytona, FL. They were AWESOME
Three piece , playing a four piece song, sounding full. They killed it!! How many kids this age are doing this at these ages? Enjoyed your reaction! 🤘🕊❤️🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
Long live rock n roll! These 3 rock hurricanes blow away the audience nightly. Seen them live twice and what you see in videos is what you get. All energy and on point.
Great to see back to back. In the early days they did a lot of kickass covers of hard rock classics they didn't want to get pegged as a cover band so started writing their own material (still extremely young) and they just turned out to have pure songwriting magic. You might be interested to see the last cover they did went back to Metallica. Their Hardwired...album had just come out and they learned Atlas Rise in 4 days and made another video from their basement (the Cave). Even in the few years since the first ES video they'd gotten much bigger and their skills were soaring off the page. Eventually you'll need to hear that. 😊
The guitar is a Explorer gifted to her by Lzzy Hale when they toured with Halestorm lol ast summer. At first Dany thought it was a loan and tried to give it back.
Hey Justin! Just an FYI, This new version of Enter Sandman will not get blocked (including the music video). It is done for the Metallica Blacklist album, which is for charity, so for that reason, it will not get blocked. BTW, the Music Video is amazing! They did it during Covid and Alessia Cara was in Toronto and The Warning were in Mexico, so could not be together to do the song or the video. BUT, it is such a cool video and includes them all, it is worth checking out. The only videos of The Warning that may get blocked are from their latest album, "Error". The previous album were done when were independent and will not get blocked.. Cheers! and Rock On!
Official videos for Choke and Evolve are usually not blocked but there is a Teatro Metropolitan version of Choke which is great. Also dont miss Animosity from Teatro as well.
Dany worked very hard on her James-face 😠 for the first video, the effort has served her well over the years 🤘
NEVER forget the 9 year old on a 5 string, the 12 year old banging the drums & singing ! They ARE a complete package !!!!
Sry, 9y old Ale plays a 4 string - how could she know ... Anyway, Ale is great, my fav of the magnificent three! ❤
The White Gibson she is playing was given to her by LZZY HALE from HALESTORM. Lzzy said play it hard and play it loud.
The vocals in their own version are the stand out for me. Those harmonies with Dany and Pau, and Ale are magical. Great reaction. They not only made ES their own…the own it now.
Just think 12 years old playing drums and singing at the same time!
Queen of the murder scene- The Warnings

Hey thanks for that, much appreciated, and yeah grateful for all the support!
I'm 66 and still rocking ✌️
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!!
At the time they did the first video they were 14, 12 and 9 yo. Amazing!
The second version was made completely in just one week!!
EPIC live performance ending in a supernova!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
The Explorer Dany is playing was gifted to her during their set, by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm
They are not very good! Good is not enough to describe how fantastic they really are. Listen to the details and you see just how great they are.
Also Liceo.
@@robertkrawitz8237 true and that is 3 different time frames
What a difference 10 years make. WOW
Best new band out there. I can’t get over that the saviors of hard rock/metal they are 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Damn they are good and it doesn’t hurt that they look good too. You watch this video and it just brings a smile to your face. Their song Disciple is really good too. (Live at Teatro).
the all-female rock group , called The Warning,
for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart.
greetings from Mexico.
Desde muy pequeñas esta cancion histórica Enter sandman ya la higieron suya y su version en la actualidad es excellent👍 saludos desde México capital.
Agree QOTMS is a masterpiece. The Lunario concert got me hooked.
Offset Era did a breakdown of the entire Lunario concert if you're interested.

They made progress in their singing and playing since then, but I just cant criticise the Queen of the murder scene - you cant criticise perfection 🤟🖖
Then there is their TedX at the university of Nevada, absolutely worth watching - my favorite Pau-performance on the drums during "Unmendable" - by far not my favorite song of theirs, but Pau's passion on the drums is mesmerizing and infectuous!
... and then, not to forget their video of "XXI Century Blood" ...
...damn, it's time to stop before I suggest their entire list of songs 😂
“Super massive”, I saw what you did there.
They learned it by playing Rock Band!. Totally self taught. They were melting faces when they were children.
If there can be a second definitive version of a great song - this is it.
Watch the guitarist. She KNOWS AC/DC and Angus. More than once she does his "point to the heavens and Rock Gods" move. LOVE IT!!!
Only thing better than some hot sibling harmonies, is the beauty and forceful energy of a sibling power trio.
This is the proper way to react to them. The transition, the change, and the maturity that you can see is amazing. They were good for their age when they were young, but, wow. What they are now. The best rock band out there.
her drumming at early age wow,,,,,
These ladies are about to conquer the world.
They came... They rocked.... They conquered!
You've been warned.
🙋⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
You do need to at least watch the official video with Alessia Cara.
It's a masterpiece.
In time you'll start liking their version better than the original.
These ladies can seemingly do no wrong.
New sub.
I LOVE THIS BAND!!
🤘😎👍
Thank you for checking out The Warning. Band Maid, Liliac, and The Warning, the saviors of rock.
It's right here that "you've been warned" as they says!!🤣 It's easily readable in your eyes!
Fun Fact!! The Drummer ( Pau) writes most of the songs on her piano,,
Really liking your reactions to them. I have watched a LOT of reactions and done my own and yours are really balanced and informed. Good job dude. Have fun!
the undisputed queens of the build
Loved this vibe! 🤟❤️⚡⚡⚡
I will quote you for this: "do YOU, be YOU, back yourself and do what mooves YOU, be a light for others and do what makes you proud." I think that they have. Great reaction.
Ale really amazing at that young age on bass. Buy they all are amazing . Great reaction.
excelente reacción, buen trabajo... y genial que hayas visto el video antiguo y el nuevo de enter sandman 🤘🤘⚡⚡
These girls are Rockstars
The live versions from these girls are incredible. I'm glad you chose the live version of Sandman at Teatro. So fantastic.
Never heard of them blocking. This is how they became popular in the first place. It's kind of their business model.
Welcome to the Warning Army!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Three piece , playing a four piece song, sounding full. They killed it!! How many kids this age are doing this at these ages?
Enjoyed your reaction!
🤘🕊❤️🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
This song always gets me choked up just because it is so good. When Pau hits that high harmony I'm done (in a good way)
Long live rock n roll!
If you are gonna go down The Warning path you are in for a ride and a half and I am sure you will love every minute of it :)
By the way, Dany's guitar was gifted to her by Lizzy Hale
If you write the greatest rock song ever. The Warning will make it better.
My two current favorite bands have both been discoveries made via react channels. The Warning and Unleash The Archers.
Excelente Reacción de las diosas del rock. Saludos
The guitar is a Explorer gifted to her by Lzzy Hale when they toured with Halestorm lol ast summer. At first Dany thought it was a loan and tried to give it back.
Check out "The End" which Pau is lead singer for.
