- I take a long walk around my favourite part of Big Corn Island, Nicaragua. I start off where I'm staying on beautiful Long Bay and encounter a crazy electrical issue with the power lines sparking, before I continue north to the Sally Peachie area of Big Corn Island. My trip to Nicaragua is coming to an end and I think I've officially fallen in love with Corn Island! Already planning to be back in December 2016! :)

Great video I've been to Nicaragua but never to corn island.
That's my home , I was born and raised there, 20 years ago that place was totally different than what it is now , in some ways is better, but of course some people prefer it the way it used to be, I really don't know how it is now cause I haven't been there sense 2014 , hope you enjoyed it cheer's.

Thank you! I was there for July and August last year. Which is a bit of a quieter time to visit but the weather is lovely, especially towards August/Sept right before rainy season really kicks in.

This may sound like a silly question, but were you accompanied by some other people on your trip? Because it looks like someone is filming you in this video. Also did you ever get a chance to visit Little Corn island? You would've loved it.
I was alone on this trip so I was filming myself using a small handheld tripod. I unfortunately didn't get to Little Corn on that trip. I'm really hoping I can get there sometime in 2018. 😊🏝
Hmmm, a heldheld tripod. Sounds relatively recent. 5 or 10 years ago you'd have a friend filming you as you travel, nowadays you can travel solo and go to the most exotic locations in paradise and film yourself. Must be a good feeling.
