I really think the ice type gym leaders are underrated. Pryce and Brycen in the manga are cooler than in the games with pryce being the main antagonist of the plot and Brycen being the one who actually trains black into overcoming the difficulties with team plasma and also secretly investigates their base Candice is cute. Wulfric is all right.
i was gonna say the same thing! even 20 years later that theme is still sooo epic!!! ^_^ it was a big disappointment to me that HG/SS couldn't live up to it. also, R/S/E probably the worst one of all (at least imo).
Very unique track for a Pokemon game as there's a clear progression in the music for different points of the battle. Definitely one of the game's best tracks.
