Dave Lieb is the mannn wben it cones to custom upgraded woofers period! I have a pair of DLD X12's and they're absolutely violent for just two lil 12's and they made great subsonic suicide woofers! 💪💪🔊🔊🤘
I have a 12"x3 (I think 5 layer??) spider in my spider pile, I bought 2 and used one in my 18 that used a sundown frame. Takes some umph to move it....
Their all acccounted for already. Even the ones that haven’t got here yet and built. Their still all sold. All 500 but u can find it from dealers thankfully ! Hurry
So I'm curious. How exactly does a 12" spider with a 4" adapter have more throw then an 11" spider with a 3" coil? Id think they'd be close enough in throw that the difference would be negligible.
@@Widowmaker2828 I'm aware. But the spider is for a 4" coil. They had to make a static adapter to fit that 4" hole. So it won't have any more travel with a 3.3" coil as it could with a 4" because there is still a 4" object in it. Make sense?
In my experience most of SunDownz 3" coil and even The 3.3" coil are longer and have more winding hight means more travel usually most 4" coils are shorter that's the only way it would make sense I could be wrong
In case you didn't know Nick at SI and Jacob at Sundown are friends and Nick has been working out of a leased portion of the Sundown HQ for over a decade at least I'd say.
Why no updated revised or better version of soft parts? New motor and same basket cool, can dig it… but the motor and basket is Still limited by the soft parts. It’s like not being able stretch all the way out because your clothes are too small for your body and don’t stretch out. Just looking at the transducer, makes me think that the soft parts are limiting it’s potential.
Got few woofers from Dave remember when he stayed at Arcadia he killed it with those woffers

Yeah the xv3s seem like they take so much more to get them moving vs the xv2s
It's such a sexy ass subwoofer. Sundown for the win.

The SDDN coil is only 3.3"

Я извиняюсь, но может подарите мне такой саб) всегда мечтал о сабвуфере вашего производства, у нас в стране их новыми не продают((
Shit looks like a stereo integerty 18
The larger SI home theater subs use the Sundown motors/baskets, different softparts more focused for home theater though.

I'm normally pretty chill, but all the specs are kind of a waste, flex that shit so we can see what it's working with.
