I’ve read that this crash is based off TWA flight 800. A Boeing 747 taking off from JFK intl experienced electrical short circuiting which caused a spark in a fuel line. This then exploited preexisting stress fractures and sheared the entire nose section clean off. The unfortunate passengers were then tortured for about a minute as the aircraft entered an uncontrolled climb from 13k ft to around 17k ft before stalling and crashing.

This is what i call a "final destination moment"
im still not afraid of flying.
oh and if this situation happened i'd be like "...oh my gawsh. you saved my life! i am forever in your dept."
Dept?
@@snogglewort1 Johnny Dept.
But Death would still come after you.
I’ve would have hugged Alex soon as the plane exploded
They thought that boy was crazy. But know they see he was not lying about what he saw.
He saw that the plane was built by Boeing
I was sleeping on the plane and I had a nightmare about that TWA 800 tragedy that caused me to have a huge anxiety attack without scaring the other passengers like that. Luckily 2 flight attendants saw it happening and they were with me for 25 minutes probably as I grieved those who died very suddenly. I begged the very kind 2 flight attendants to bring those who died back and they really didn’t want to tell me they couldn’t, all I wanted to do was cry and wanted to be with them; I calmed down after the incident. I totally regretted having that anxiety attack but it suddenly happened out of nowhere
@@njboredtodeath Really? That joke is so worn out.
My tea's gone cold and I'm wondering why....
I think about this scene every time I take my seat for a flight. Whether it’s a short flight, or a flight to the other side of the world. I figure if something happens and it’s my time to go…oh well. At least it will be fairly quick. ✈️ 🙏🏼 ☸️ 🌴 🌴 🌴
The best film.
Real
I think this was based on the real plane crash TWA 800 where they had not filled up one of the fuel tanks. The fuel was then ignited by a spark by an arch in electrical cord.
RIP TWA 800😢
Nope, FBI and CIA covered it up. A missile brought down the plane. The NTSB never proved it was a spark in the CWT. No high voltage wires run down into the tank to cause an ignition like that.
Whenever I get upset, I blame myself for all those deaths but I wasn’t born until 7 years later. Mummy thinks I have really bad autism or something but she doesn’t understand how it feels
@@nicolelawless9942 Hello. Thank you for your reply. May I ask, why do you blame yourself for this?? How do you feel and why does your mother think you have autism? If you really do there is nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone has autism one way or another. It's just determined how your emotion react to it...
Good luck Nicole
Hello. May I ask why you blame yourself for this terrible tragedy?
@@t60njw
I don’t know why to be honest but I think it’s a way of showing my true feelings. All my family members know this but some don’t care how it feels
Is that Stiffler @0:44?
Yea
Yes
A lot of young actors in this movie became stars.
Don’t know why but I’ve decided to watch this whilst mid flight over the Great Australian Bight. 😱
If Sam and Molly hit off the plane, then they could have helped Alex.
Thank you for flying Hanni Handor airlines
OMGD this is all sooo scary…i soo agree with you guys..and in that scene where the glass smashes from the impact of the explosion….i refuse to board a plane and haven’t flown in well over 10 years as the last time i did, those thoughts were racing through my mind as i was walking up
those stairs to the plane..knowing i could so easily die!! Never again!!!
That's me doing cruises only now I've watched this however I'm scared of sharks
With these movies was ever explained why they get these premonitions ? I never understood why they got them
The fact they even had a baby on that plane. My gosh, they don't mess around.
@lsa54 I don't know. Things like that were taken seriously, but remember it was BEFORE september 11th, so things were a bit different. Now, if that happened hell yes they would cancel the flight. They would also send him to jail.
@@LeeAnne1990 Nowadays, if this happened today, every plane at the airport would be fully evacuated and every airport in the country would be brought to a complete stop and Alex would be off to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Howcome. Who wrote these scenes has never been on a plane and has never seen a movie.
Sean William Scott's character is like a human golden retriever.
3:54 there are 4 teachers on that trip so Larry does not need to go.
Is because he was the only that speaks French
@XaviAVX It's not said in the film. It only intimates that the teacher who stayed behind doesn't.
Heart breaking..not even a quick death. Some were conscious on the way down.
The fact that I’m watching this right before I go on a plane 🤦♀️😭
Oh heck! I remember in 2019, 17 years old me kept having visions of 9/11 and I ended up surviving the south tower impact before randomly waking up. 3 flight attendants noticed it and 25 unknown passengers helped me as I panicked. 15 of the passengers asked me what happened in my vision and I ignored them before looking out the plane’s window to see the South tower again and I was really panicking that time no joke! I still loved how everyone believed me because those passengers saw 9/11 themselves so they understood why I was so panicked. Even the captain came out to see what the yelling was and he probably thought “panicking about 9/11 shit again I see?!” Everyone knew how desperate I was for those who died in 9/11 wanted to be saved but I COULD NOT DO ANYTHING!
O Primeiro e melhor de todos os filmes Premonição!
Always been interested to see the NTSB report for that one 😂
I rather die by flying out of the plane than burning up to death
Final Destination 1 - KAPUSO MOVIE FESTIVAL
MIERKULES
Me and my dad have forever jokingly checked the tabletray knob and as long as 2:50 doesn't happen we good, if it does happen, we'll order the biggest bottle they serve and accept our fate.
A good pilot would never allow a situation to get this bad this quickly.
So many things could have been done to mitigate the cascade of calamity.
I would never fly with them again!😂
Can you imagine how those poor people were going through on 9/11 my heart is so heavy right now. In the hands of jesus people of 9/11.
The most horrifying thing here is that stretched aspect ratio. My poor eyes.
It's coz of the Final Destination movies, that I can never see a nut bolt without imagining whay would happen if it goes loose.. every single time.
これ深夜にやっててめっちゃ怖かった思い出。でも面白いよね
good movie =]
Remember how the kid looked at the door of the plane when he boarded and also looked down, comtemplating everything? I do that now every time i fly thanks to this dang movie. Im not acared of flying but this movie could easily push a person down that road. Told a friend of mine before he flew for the first time, DO NOT watch final destination before you fly. If you do, you will drive everywhere
near the end, what the heck is that cursor doing on the screen
Dsni awalnya belum keliatan ya pemain FD ke 5
Kerennya di ending bisa ada dan di masukin
❤
Ill remove myself from the plane when someone says this
I love how people think there would be no oxygen less than 10,000 ft from the ground 😂😂
Who here saw this when it came out and went on a plane the next day? ✋
That's what's called The Final Destination effect. Death really does have a design but I've been saying that long before Final Destination even existed unlike the film we don't know what are number is I'm glad we don't or you end up worrying about it I end up looking like a lunatic like the guy who got dragged off of flight
Where is the rest of the scene with the reactions of the students and teachers at the gate?
Best Movie 🎉
2000.
annnnd thats why I will never drive behind a truck full of logs 😅🤣
After seeing these movies, I want o live a solid contreat house..............
