Metal Detecting An Abandoned Ghost Town (With 50 People!)

- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- Hey guys! Metal detecting is something I've always wanted to do at Cerro Gordo. I've tried many times during my stay here, but never fully got the hang of it. But given that Cerro Gordo had so many people living here over so long, there has to be things in the ground!! So to try to unearth any of those artifacts a bit quicker than I could on my own, I invited out 50 viewers of the channel!
It was an absolutely amazing weekend and one that I'll remember for a very long time to come. I hope to have many more group events in the coming years!
A special thanks to Chris Kam and Andre who came out and filmed this, so I could just focus on interacting with everyone!
If you want to be part of a future metal detecting weekend, let me know in the comments below!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Hello everyone!! Thank you so much for checking out the video. I think we need a full metal detecting WEEK to find everything that's left behind here. It's SO much land to cover, 50 people wasn't even enough. Let me know below if you'd be interested in participating in the future or any other group events you think we should do!
love the videos brent!
I hope I can make the next one! I’ve never had so much love for a place such as this especially in California.. lol
Brent you definitely need to do this again and give more lead time. Im in Tennessee and my dad is big into metal detecting. I would love to do a road trip with him and bring him out for your next event as a surprise. He would love that so much. Keep the videos coming i enjoy them alot.
Amazing job Brent! Keep up the amazing work!
Most definitely! It would be cool to make it something you do annually or even semi annually. Make it a tradition :)
The coolest thing about this channel is they way we feel like we are on the expedition with you. Your storytelling method is what makes this so interesting. Great job, keep it up, can't wait to see what happens next!
YOU BIG DUMMY!! haha cool to see you here sir! Love your videos
Fancy seeing you here. LOL!
*The artwork on that ring may be of a fifth century or earlier figure. The ring itself may be much newer, what kind of metal is it?*
True that. He seems so pleased to be sharing stuff he finds interesting, that it is automatically interesting.
at first, i had no interest in mines, or ghost town or stuff like that. but his storytelling is so impressive and calming i watched all his vids and every video he uploads.
The boys and I had an incredible time metal detecting with you at Cerro Gordo! You’ve awakened a deep interested and passion for them in the history and geology and they are sharing that with their friends and classmates. What an incredible experience and gift. Thank you Brent!
So awesome!! HATS OFF TO YOU DAD.
@@jeffreyallen3796 Dad of the year!
Looks like you all had a good time up there, the view alone is worth the trip, and i bet those burgers tasted better than any McDonald's one :)
You and your sons are making the best memories!
This event was everything I had hoped it would be... and more! I drove from Southern Idaho to participate. Thank you Brent! Looking forward to another one in the spring time. 👍🏻
Hello Laurie 👋... That's nice 😇 So how are you doing?
You are the perfect custodian for this property. An amazing life achievement! You are looking healthy and well fed. I appreciate you!!
Brent is a former miner reincarnated
Brent, as a coin collector that 1850 “nickel” is actually a half dime. Still a 5c coin, but they were made of silver back then. People didn’t start calling them nickels until they started making them out of nickel in 1866!
Great video. Watched all of them this is the first time I’ve commented
Noted! That is really interesting.
@@nexttsar How do you know that?
@@justinh6974 it said dime on the coin. They show it later on in the video and call it a dime not a nickel
copperpaigne1 from Sudbury nickel capital of the world saying congratulations Brent Underwood great show you deserve all the success and you can tell everybody that was out there was happy and that's a win.
@@nexttsar correct, there were actually 3 Seated Dimes found. I regret not getting better photos with Mint marks. I do know none were CC. That would have been awesome!
As an archaeologist, I have a deep inner hate for metal detectors which I can't even turn off fully when watching this actually wholesome video.
Too many people are destroying archaeological sites and stealing the treasures of the past which are so important to understand where we come from because they just want to hunt for their own treasures to take home or sell.
PLEASE!
If you want to go metal detecting, do respect your local laws! Do not just dig up random artifacts which you know nothing about. If you find something of interest that's not just a tin can or the likes, contact archaeologists. Do not take any found items home with you. And never destroy or vandalize the objects in the ground - seeing their entire context is incredibly important.
It's just a thing of respect for the past times and the science. And also... If you get caught stealing or trafficking artifacts, most countries will have some long lists of heavy sentences for you.
Bumping.
This is the first episode that gave me tears since the hotel burnt down years back. Except this time they were tears of joy. So happy to see these hills alive again after so many years.
Great video!! The "ring" at 9:42 is a Signet Ring and used for sealing an envelope with hot wax, the bust on the face is in negative form. After the author had inserted a letter into an envelope, it was held closed by pouring liquid wax from a candle onto the flap. The face would be pressed into the wax as it cooled making a positive bust on the envelope leaving a nice "personal touch" for the recipient of the letter to enjoy upon receiving it...
The seal was more than a nice "personal touch" or a pretty decoration though. An intact seal meant that the letter had not been read by prying eyes along its route to the recipeient. A broken seal meant the opposite. Seals were also often unique so that no one could open the envelope and then reseal it with a similar signet.
@@auntiecaffeinecrafts Thanks for that addition AuntiCaffeineCrafts. I forgot to include that bit in my comment...
@@auntiecaffeinecrafts you could heat a seal to read and put it back, real spies did this
@@melantorja True! But I think the idea was a lot like the idea is with today and the lick-and-seal envelopes. Most people aren't going to go through all the trouble of heating an envelope over a steaming pot to open it and read it just like most people back in olden times weren't going to go through the difficult process of breakign a seal and painstakingly re-sealing it. The wax seal wasn't a perfect method of ensuring secrecy, but it was a good attempt.
That's fantastic how cool!!!!
Honestly.. This is the most wholesome community on the entirety of the Internet. Every single video I watch from you just instantly warms my heart beyond belief, really wish I could join you at Cerro Gordo and just live that life of absolute freedom and joy. One day maybe..
same here ! love sharing this feelings with strangers on the internet!
You should definitely hold an annual (or more often) metal detecting day!
And possibly as an activity when people start staying the wheen the hotel is finished. Pretty sure it would take eons to find everything.
The area is so large it should happen every month
Also makes up for good viewing
Aww Brent, could have watched this over and over, wish it had been longer. Don’t think you realise what a skilled film maker you are. Huge love from North Wales, UK 🤗🏴
I'm an old man now, but this really, really reminds me of the connection we had in the late 1960s.
This man, and what he he is doing, is a good thing.
Reuben, we may be old age wise, but our hearts and minds are young. Thank you for your posting. Be Well!
Metal detecting has always been my Zen. I could spend days out there honestly. I've always been up to find the next hidden thing that we walk over everyday. I'm not in it to keep anything. I give everything I find to either the property owners or on lookers. I love to teach everyone who is curious about the hobby and the science behind it. I'll usually bring a backup detector and hand it to maybe an owner or their kids and teach them about it. I also teach about digging and repecting the land, that is literally more than half of being a responsible detectorist. Love the videos, thanks for sharing!
We had a great time metal detecting! Let's do it again!
I got very emotional at how people came together to help in the search for artifacts. It is truly amazing how we can come together and help out to preserve such a historical town. I loved it!
Hi Brent, The silver ring that was found is a seal ring. They use them to seal letters with hot wax then press the ring into it leaving their own personal stamp!
Very cool! I wonder all the letters that touched.
Often with a family seal on it.
@@GhostTownLiving What would be really cool is finding one of them letters! You should try it out. Wax won't do it any harm!
@@GhostTownLiving It would cool to find out the original owner of the ring.
Hey, just for the record....its Brent ;)
Those kids are incredible; shout out to our children learning and exploring; it's so important. Also, shout out to everyone involved.
Not sure why this comment is identical to the one above it...
While watching this episode I was thinking how interesting it would be if each item found are cataloged with the names of the people that rediscovered them. When the item is displayed for the public, the names of the people that rediscovered them will be honored for their efforts and discovery.
Yes, and also what building or area of Cerro Gordo it was found in as well, as that could tell part of the item's history.
THANKS to all the fabulous people who came over to help Brent ‼️
You are like elves helping Santa 😬
Have a wonderful day !
Yes! Been anxious to see how this turned out! Was an awesome trip and worth driving 22 hours for!
What an epic drive! Thank you. You're welcome back anytime!
@@GhostTownLiving thanks Brent! Was awesome meeting you, others and having the opportunity to metal detect. Had an awesome time and will be back when my wife can join next time. BTW, below by the American Hotel while we were chatting, I mentioned finding lotsa of large peices melted Lead. In hindsight, those large chunks could have been melted bars of lead/silver! I left them on the surface and the rain might bring out the shine for an easy find... Hope its silver that was stashed in the Hotel!!!
@@ImageThisPhoto that's awesome man
22 hours? wow gg
Sheeshhhh, where did you drive from?
Brent, thank you so much for what you do. When I'm going through a hard time I can watch your channel and feel much better. Keep it up man. You're passion is such a positive one. Whether you realize it or not, just being you with your passion helps people from far away.
I love everything about this and your channel.
You're creating community in so many ways: In your ghost town, in the local area, among UA-camrs and in the world.
It's simply amazing.
Love that! Thank you. It is so cool to see the community around this town.
That was just about the coolest thing ever. Very few UA-cam communities are as interactive as yours is, Brent. It’s so special and unique. I can’t wait to see the next (even bigger) metal detecting gathering you have. That was so fun to watch!
I’m so excited to watch the video! Can’t wait to see me dressed up as the Old Prospector at Cerro Gordo metal detecting!
Really! That should be fun
Are you the one in the thumbnail on the right side with the big beard?
That was cool!
LOL! you were really playing the part!
That was you? Lol very cool...I was wondering if that was someone in a fake beard or it was really an old timer lol
Everyone looked so happy and kind, I love people like that who just always smile, makes me happy
What a calm feeling I get every time I watch your videos, Brent. It is honestly the most mellow channel in UA-cam. No drama, no hysteria, just pure simple joy. Thank you.
I'VE A MEETAL DETECTOR, BUT NOT ABLE, NOT SOMETHING I COULD DO ALONE, THIS LOOKS LIKE A GREAT TIME. GOD PROTECT YOU ALL.
Fantastic to see the community coming together and life returning to the old town!
Agreed! The community is the star of this town and the way it will continue into the future
Yeah hey mate. Makes me happy to know I might be able to visit one-day regardless of it still needing work or not.
DUDE! I know I don't know Brent, but the timber in his voice, and the actions he takes up there make me know he would be a brother. I'm so ecstatic that this happened, I'm like 20 seconds in telling my wife that I thought this was just a one off when you said you'd like to do this, and its happening!!!!
The table was full of the past...so cool...if those things could talk. Love what your doing Brent. Have fun, all who's there.
it is unbelievable that one guy with huge dedication and big hearth can bring whole city back to life...!!!
What an absolute haul. I love how enthusiastic you are about finding all of this stuff. A lot of people might look at it as scrap or junk, but I love how you can look at even the smallest piece of something and understand that it has a story of it's own. Every single object that you find there was handled by someone at some point, and each one of those people started life as a baby, grew older and had stories and memories they gathered throughout their lives. I bet if you told a miner in 1870 that, in the year 2021, someone would be showing their kettle or clock to thousands of people around the world, they'd laugh at you. Even if we don't know their names or their faces, we know they exist through what they left there, and that's what makes what you're doing so special.
Explained Perfectly
It looks like everyone had a great time. I wish I didn't live so far away. Keep up the great work at preserving history.
That seal ring is cool, the guy who owned it must’ve been of some importance to be sealing letters with his crest and initials
You're such a wonderful person, Brent! You're so selfless. You don't have a drop of greed or selfishness in you! People go greedy and wouldn't trust anyone on their property with a metal director, you did, you let people have their moment.
Man, you're a beautiful soul! May God bless you and keep you safe!
Loads of love and respect to you, from India ❤️
4:00-4:30 “sometimes people don’t let you come and metal detect on their property. So this seemed like a great opportunity” so sweet and such a true statement I love this community that you’ve built and I can’t wait till I have the opportunity to come out one day keep up the great work!!!
There's something really special about what you have done out there these last 2 years in Cerro Gordo. I'm so happy for you that people are coming out to help and make new memories in your town. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work. It's super inspiring.
When I go gold detecting I always find the true gold is the people I meet along the way. It keeps me coming back for more.
The town was sure buzzing with activity. Like the one man said it's almost impossible to metal detect on historical property. This was a great opportunity for them to do without getting in trouble.❤
You should think about this as a long-term plan. Do it a few times a year around the same times so people can plan around it. Set up grids on a map and keep everyone together and extensively sweep each grid before moving to the next section. Maybe even having 2 sweeps, 1 for non-ferrous and the second for ferrous metals. This way it will only take a few years (depending on how often you do this) to sweep every inch of the town and surroundings. Can't wait for your big metal detector treasure find video that's coming soon! Keep up the good work!
This would definitely be something that will contribute to the revival of the town at some point in the future
You could simply give them utility wire markers those orange blue yellow white cheap flags and number them with each participants given number. Then the participant writes down a more specific number for discussing in the future that person 43 found item 27 and it was a nickel and that could be a way you could go back and grid I don’t know
It’s so amazing seeing you bounce back after the fire Brent! Keep up the amazing story telling & content!cheers
DUDE! You might want to do this again and make it a series.
I'd definitely watch all of it.
Please make it a recurring event!
100% behind you Brett. Thank you for sharing your adventures with the world. Big love from South Africa.
I love watching the town getting rebuilt with the new people. They feel the same as you do. Also I thought it was great of other you tuber (Heavy D ) coming up and helping with the American hotel and the truck donation (army truck). All of those things keep me watching. The metal detecting was the icing on the cake. Great fun for the whole family.... TY Good Luck Brett, I am a fan😁 You know that the Ghost Adventure team (Travel Channel)did a show on your town too.
'Cerro Gordo
It's truely truely true!'
THAT"S a Tshirt, Brent!
Your videos give me hope in humanity when I start to lose it... living in a city and my line of work I really get 'stuck' sometimes into a mindset that people are bad at heart. Even though all your videos do each Sunday before I go back to work, this video left me especially recharged for the week. Thanks for making them, it's one of the small things that makes my week!
And to everyone that got a chance to go to the first one, lucky you! I wish I wasn't on the other side of the country. You guys are AWESOME!!!
That was such a Great idea and made all those people sooo happy .you made alot.of friends
God bless you
Those kids are amazing. Shout out to our kids learning an exploring. So important. Shout out to all the people involved.
Its insane to see the structure of your face compared to the first video! so ridgid and tougher looking now! Just so cool what hard work can do! edit: also peep the corridor crew shirt lol
Considering the potential worth (personally or in money) of Artefacts in the Museum orthose to be added in the future, I think some kind of security system wouldnt be bad at some point.
As a middle aged woman living in Australia with limited funds I probably wont ever get to visit Cerro Gordo but your passion and genuine spirit is truly inspirational. Thank you Brent for being you and bringing this little town to life for all of us to see.
You should put a card next to each piece and note the date and who found it, that would be cool to see and new memories to be made from the artifacts for all the participants.
Or even a video record/documentation/file saved on a cd/dvd that keeps a permanent record of every person contributing to Cerro Gordo. Could be sort of a Cerro Gordo 'year book' video-ized !!
Just up the road from where I've lived most of my life is a nature trail that I still walk down every once in a while, with the few small exceptions of some conspicuously placed stones there was no visible evidence that the area had ever been anything but forest. I'm 50 and only maybe 10 years ago I found out that there used to be an old saw mill, a gunsmith and a stone cutter whom used to have their businesses out there, so for the heck of it I bought a metal detector and took a look.I ended up finding what may have been either a well or a privy and found several objects near it including a flat button in the loose stone lining that had clearly been lost by the person whom built it, it's well over 150 years old if not much older. I have a suspicion that area is where the stone cutter used to work as I THINK I may have found part of a stone splitting wedge, which is pretty cool because he was the man whom carved many of the town's gravestones as well as other historic stone structures that are well over 200 years old. I also found part of an unusually small horseshoe that must have been on something like a pony or donkey, it was near the well/privy that given how deep it was was also extremely old and probably belonged to the stone cutter or whomever used that spot.
Long story short there's something particularly satisfying about rediscovering links to a previously unknown past, especially when all visible evidence on the surface is gone like it is on that nature trail, it's like statements from people from the distant past announcing "we were here, we were real"
Thanks for sharing!!!
I found a log stamping hammer in my michigan woods and was able to trace the stamp back to a German immigrant, ended up there was a whole town lost in the woods over time. Lots of awesome artifacts
That's awesome.
I know the feeling of amazement and wonder, thinking what people used to do there.
On the way into the town rubbish tip is a sad, neglected looking building which it turns out is an Elizabethan manor house.
Not far away the beauty spot car park turns out to be where there was a factory in the 1700s, at the start of the industrial revolution. It was attacked in a riot and didn't last long!
I gotta make the 120 mile drive and check out Cerro Gordo. I love the channel and what your doing.
What we’re witnessing with this event, and truly from Brent’s complete endeavor over these last 2 years is the physical manifestation of a new message to humanity: “What is most valuable requires seeking deep inside”. From the courageous exploration of deep mine shafts to the resurrection of historical buildings and stories, he’s showing us that the surface level life most of us tend to lead is great for staying busy and appearing productive, but it is generally accomplishing little with any deep meaning to the soul. It’s incredibly inspiring to see someone so positive, so compassionate, so dedicated, and so sure of his mission.
Very well said!
Nailed it, this is why I enjoy it so much.
Great job Brent, I love how you get everyone involved. Life truly is all about our connection to each other and you facilitate that with your resurrection of our great history. Thank you!
Oh my, my father would absolutely love this. He lives in VT and I live in South Florida, and this would be the best adventure for us to come together. If you decide to have another, please add me to the list!
Looked like such a great weekend. Hope to make it up there someday, so amazing to watch the town and the support around it grow!
You really have to make the museum fire proof!
I wanna come next time :))
That is amazing Brent and to find people who respect the history of a place like Cerro Gordo is also amazing I hope you are now going to take up metal detecting.
Awesome to see the younger crowd out there and their level of excitement and involvement. The educational value alone is immeasurable. #historyiscool
This channel has to be hands down the best channel i have ever found! Brent you are a true hero and preserver of history long forgotten!
Absolutely mate
Him & foresty forest are the best people on UA-cam
Thank you so so much for sharing the excitement of finding a piece of history and speculating on how it got there and what it went through, whose hands have carried it with them. It brings me so much joy even seeing children being able to partake in this! Thank you so much for sharing the history of Cerro Gordo and your experiences! Please take care of yourself and be safe! I am so glad I getting watch these videos, I haven't been able to work in over a year due to fainting and unexplained weight loss and pain. I really hope to one day be able to spend a day exploring Cero Gordo! By the way, I LOOOOVE your farm! What a dream! I can't wait to see all of your animals in a video again!
Metal detecting is a great hobby, first time I ever went out into just a random field that someone gave me permission to use, I found a coin token from 1849 which was used by employers to pay their staff which allowed the employees to spend the tokens in the mills. In the same field I found a royal artillery button from WW1, managed to trace back that they had used the area as training.
It’s about the finding out the history behind the items after finding them, and your in a great place for some brilliant history finds! Enjoy your new hobby!
Brent, I got a mailer to be a Nielson Family. They asked about my favorite programming and I wrote in UA-cam Ghost Town Living. Awesome stuff, so happy to share what you share with me
LETS GOOOOOOO BRENT!!!!!! Excited to see whats in store for this video!
Was hoping the hooverboys would be part of this. Maybe one day. Great video.
Great work guys. Sometime soon I’ll bring some of the big dogs from the detecting community up and hopefully add a few more pages to the history. Keep after it!
If you ever decide to open the town to the public you should make metal detecting one of the attractions and for the more “cooler” finds you can display them with a plaque with the finders name on it, what it is and the date of when it was found
I really liked your analogy of how one more sweep with the metal detector must've been what the miners went through looking for gold or silver. Sometimes that last pass just when you want to quit turns out to be fruitful. Continue to love the channel and your efforts at Cerro Gordo. Someday hope to visit and do some photography. Keep up the passion!
Congratulations on making a ghost town live once again. I appreciate seeing the history
Brent, it was great to meet you a few weeks ago! I was so stoked to, quite literally, stumble upon Cerro Gordo and run into when I had already seen your videos! I didn't put everything together until we were talking for a few minutes! I'm excited to see the progression and would love to volunteer one day when I make it out there next! If you want any architectural assistance, hit me up!
What an awesome idea, Brent. 👍 It's really no wonder this has been the single fastest growing channel I've ever seen on UA-cam.
Heya Brent Shaun here all the way from little ol New Zealand! :) Just wanted to say Im lovin the adventures and trials and tribulations you are finding and facing while you rebuild and uncover the lives of these old buggers stuck out in the middle of nowhere!! Man what a life!! Thankyou for bringing it to us and preserving it for future generations!! Man was I hopeful I might of won your give away ring haha what an absolutely awesome idea that was! sadly it wasn't to be...I hope whoever did get it will cherish it. good to see the other you tubers getting in and helping too! Anyways Cheers to you and yours and keep up the good work and I shall watch from afar and marvel at the awesomeness that is your life and world!! :)
This must have been so much fun! I look forward to watching more videos of people using metal detectors there.
So sad I don't know how to do metal detecting it you ever do something like this again id love to go hopefully you do. Also have a great day
Those coins are definitely priceless. As well as the other variety of items found.
I bet that in your wildest dreams, you could've never thought that this different array of items could be found?
I hope that you will have another event like this one real soon.
Did this make you want to start metal detecting?
Amazing video. Look forward to the next Videos.
Nancy, you'll never know, how exciting, finding an old coin can feel, if you don't metal detect. Yesterday, while visiting/staying at my son's house in Seal Beach while there on vacation, I drove down to Huntington Beach, and right off the boardwalk (it's actually concrete) I could see where a tractor was used to cut a grove in the sand to allow for drainage. It's been raining. Well, knowing how dropped coins sink over the years, and seeing that the sand had been dug down, I thought well maybe enough sand had been removed as to allow me to be able to reach those old coins that were lost years ago. I swung my coil over the sand and got a target. My detector said, it might be a half dollar. I dug a hole about eight inches deep, and pulled a round dark object, and right away, knew it was an old Benjamin Franklin Silver Half Dollar. Oh man, this is so cool, I said to myself. And since I am experienced at metal detecting, I swung my coil over the hole again. Walla, another target was down there, with the same target info on my detector as the silver half dollar. I probed around and found even an older, Standing Liberty Half Dollar, a 1937. Well, to keep from making this too long, for about forty five minutes I keep detecting this area, and ended up with five wheat pennies (minted 1909-1958) two silver dimes, oldest 1945, and and a silver quarter. I can't tell you how excited I was. Then I said to myself, how cool would it be to find gold to go with all those silver coins? I set out to find gold and hunted and hunted and it was not to be. It's the next day, and raining at 10:00 am. Low tide is at 1:14 pm. No matter, raining or not, I'm gonna be out there at low tide hunting for lost gold. I am excited.
It's good to see something positive. I'm sure the folks that came were from both political camps, but can still come together for a common cause and not politicize it!
Yeah right these sort of community things should happen more often
Coolest video I've seen in a long time. Love the story & what you're doing and sharing with everyone! Keep it up, stay awesome bro!
What a great event. It must be very gratifying to see the town full of people. Hopefully you can make this an annual event. On another topic, you mentioned your team of volunteers that helps you with different events, etc. Have you thought about doing some videos profiling them on your channel?
It’s been very pleasant watching the progress over the years, congratulations!
Wish we lived closer, I'd love to help put that town together! Hopefully be able to make a trip there for vacation in 2022 depending on the scamdemic...
Hi I would have liked to see more detail on things that were found .As I will probably never have the chance coming out to you because of the distance and the money it would take to take a trip to you from France.
God video but one detailing the finds would be great.
That's going to be epic❤️
Absolutely brilliant. Im from the UK not your country yet somehow I feel connected to this beautiful place. Your videos are amazing and I always look forward every new one you upload. One of my bucket list is to visit that place and stay in the hotel when it's built. Thank you so much for the great content.
I LOVE seeing a father and son spending time together. Such a great situation to observe and appreciate.
Thank you for inviting us! It was the best time of our lives! The weather was perfect.
I love ghost towns & metal detecting. What a great combo! Wish I could have participated. Good place to look..if you can figure out where the old dump is. Usually there’s a lot of items dumped…
I’ve been through a couple myself. Found great treasures:)
My dad used to take me to a really old Lakota dump as a kid. Glass beads, various pottery & arrowheads were everywhere! A kid’s dream come true.
Amazing finds! Very well preserved as well considering they were underground for that long.
What a great Idea, it certainly keeps the town alive and it’s exciting for the people who visit. Well done. ❤️ Dorset, UK
You didn't spend any time going through the majority of the finds....kind of anticlimactic .
there is no way something great was not found!
This was incredible to watch
With everyone who came up to keep the dream alive .. your passion and drive has me hooked to want to watch more ❤️ I’ve binge watched to come up to speed 🤣🤣🤣
I feel like I’m with you on your adventures even though I’m from a far off land down in New Zealand
Bless you Brent 🙏
I'm so glad I found your channel a few months ago, this kind of video genuinely feels good
Hello from the Fiji Islands, wow, what an amazing weekend you all had. I would love to attend something like that, and digging up all that history, simply awesome. So many assorted finds, and to return them to your museum for everyone to see is great. I loved your video and enjoyed your style, very natural and likeable. By my reckoning, if I was burying money or valuables back then, other than under the floor boards, I would have went up the hills somewhere near a natural marker. Detect there I reckon 😉. Anyway you have earned a new subscriber here, all the best and have a blessed and wonderful Christmas, Natalie 🙋♀⛄🎅🌞😎
Amazing what you are doing man, im from the UK, I love metal detecting and would be a dream to come here, keep up the good work brother looks like your living the good life !!
Saw a documentary somewhere on "mudlarkers" of the Thames River and man, that is so cool to find ancient Roman coins from back when London was "Londinium"!!
the stories that you tell what makes this channel special. and letting ppl come up and help is so refreshing. cant wait till the hotel is built!
Brent I saw that the latest weather models show upwards of 100 inches of Snow over the next nine days in the mountains of California. Keep those animals all snug and warm.
yup it is about to get nasty out.
