It might be friendship vibes/pride. I saw Aisling mention Celia once, possibly on a talk show or Rob Brydon’s UA-cam channel. She said they met at a comedy festival and have been good friends since.
I can believe they'd be friends they're both very bubbly but when I saw they were both going to be on together I thought it'd get too much as they both have motor mouths but thankfully Celia was actually quiet for once, probably to make way for Aisling, which I was glad about, Celia is funny but she can get a bit much at times, too hypo and annoying. Whereas Aisling knows how to give you just enough of herself without getting too grating.
Love Aisling. She's great in 8 out of 10 dogs does Countdown, her comedy specials and her intervuews- great one where she's a guest with John Malkovich.

She made a joke that she had a “bedroom gymnastics“ move named after her. The host tried to embarrass her by saying her daughter was watching, to which she responded “that’s how she got made”,
@@abonham82thanks for the explanation. May I ask another question please, did Celia said almost the same thing at the same time, that is why they high five ?
I think she was being sarcastic. She knew what she was wearing etc. and mocked herself through the show. She's a very witty person and her humor is funny. I'm sure that they wouldn't post this if it was going to cause an issue.
Is this a TV remake of the UK radio show? I wanna watch it anyway. Is it on in the UK or Ireland? I like a lot of Australian comedy. That Sam guy wrecks.
No@@Tornaxx, no she's not. Did you notice 'the Bea' was conspicuous by her absence during the election- so not wanting to influence the fine power balance in the Dáil. Your comment doesn't make sense in two ways. 1.) You haven't pointed out or timestamped where anyone said she was from the UK, so it just looks like you are disagreeing with something isn't there 2.) By stating that 'she's no more of a UK comedian than the other four are Kiwi/Aussie comedians' you are, yourself, referring to her as British - since they are clearly Kiwi/Aussie comedians.
@krashd Point 1. It was a correction of another comment that has since been removed. Point 2. They can't be a KIWI /AUSSIE comic. They are separate nations. They are one or the other. But not both. You lump an irish person in with the UK it is considered an insult by Irish people, and you will be corrected. Admittrdly, it is not an intentional insult in most cases. But an insult non the less. As for the other 4 nobodies, I'd be less concerned about their nationality description and more concerned about their description as comedians.
@@PatrickHarte-t3b So are you saying that you, as an Irish person, feel offended? Or that you are imagining what you think an Irish person might think and are having a response to what you imagined?
@Tao_Tology A little irritated more than offended. Irish people don't appreciate being lumped in with British people. Certainly those from the Republic. Just flagging the misclassification. Mmm, she's a well known Irish comic who's been a mainstay of UK comedy panel shows for several years, co-starred in a Netflix series with Paul Rudd and played the mum in a recent incarnation of the Home Alone films. Why are you so special?
