I didn’t have the nice tools you used in the video. But what I found that works is pumping the breaks and holding them down while I crack and loosen the caliper screws. You can feel the pedal sink down and then tighten the bolt back up and let off the break. Almost worked too well cause now it breaks so hard my wheels lock up 😅

Probably overheated and burned all the oil in the brake lines out lmao. I barely ever touch my brakes I try to only use regen, you really don’t ever need to touch your brakes with regen 2 on acrually^ only for wheelies
What does your brake lever feel like? Is it spongy? Probably air got into your brake lines if your lever isnt giving pressure. If you get good pressure on lever, but the brakes slipped, you probably got brake oil on your pads or rotor
Possibly let air in the system. You won’t feel any pressure even when pumping the breaks. You need to hold down the breaks while bleeding them the entire time otherwise you will be letting in more air. Same concept for bleeding breaks on cars and trucks.
I used this video to bleed my brakes, front brakes went fine but back brakes are still squishy, going to have to re bleed my rear brakes. i think i got mineral oil on my rear brakes though when I changed them. can i clean them or are they ruined?
Get yourself a can of brake cleaner and give it a good spray, will clean them up nicely altho noticing your comment is a month old I hope this finds you before you replace everything 👌
@@mitchstarr5317 My bike got stolen, right before i was going to put a new chain, new pegs, change the oil and other things. RIP my baby may 6th 2024.

@@toothpick05 I couldn't bring it inside at my new apartment as it was a basement apartment so I was going to get a chain and lock it to the balcony outside (with permission) but I couldn't get a chain and lock in time and it got stolen overnight. I still have the battery and charger, and the new pegs that I got for it. Really sucks as I lost about $5000 basically. Never really got to ride it in the summer.
I think rotors are easily cleanable. I haven't had luck with brakleen on pads though. Too porous
I've followed with this video probably 6 times now and still have no pressure with the rear brake kit I just got from luna... any ideas???
maybe air in the system or a leak in the brake line.
I blew the front brake line, replaced it and the caliper. I can’t get fluid to push from the caliper to the upper reservoir screw, it will not push fluid through and idk why…thoughts?
how did it blow? mine like pinched in on itself
@@natemooney17I routed it on the inside of the front shock and the spokes rubbed through. I figured out my problem tho, my caliber messed up and wasn’t passing fluid probably from a wreck.
