    Josh, great video! She is at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. This is considered a health facility and therefore falls under HIPAA guidelines. WMHI is next to a couple of minimum men's camps but is considered a maximum facility. Also, there is no good time in Wisconsin as we have a law known as "Truth in Sentencing." There is no parole system either, the only way out early is to petition a judge (with as much success rate as one would expect). Or the judge may sentence some low-risk offenders to boot camp or an Earned Release Program (which is right next to WMHI). Despite WI being a "soft" system, the sentencing can be quite harsh especially when compared to nearby states such as MN, MI, and IL.

      I live in wisconsin it really sucks Truth and sentencing was a huge mistake. After you do your time, you get out on extended supervision. Which is probation reproal pretty much.
      The only way you can get out early is doing programs and stuff. I've done people to get out early. I know someone I got out 4 years early couple years ago and just got ready for a bunch Selling charges again. So he is most definitely going back to prison. He will do all the time from his other case and anything extra

    Hey bro I've tried really hard to forget my prison time because I thought that was progress and moving on with my life. Then after watching your channel for a while, I realized that your message was to help others to stay out of prison. I really dig that man! I did 4 years in and 4 years on paper for 2 bank robberies in Pennsylvania back in 2012 and i came home in 2016. They said the feds didn't want me, so I did State time across 3 different penitentiaries. I know you're looking for stories and stuff. I'm not gang affiliated or anything and I'm just a nobody so I doubt I'll hear from you but I just wanted to reach out to thank you for vividly reminding me of the sights, sounds, & smells. It has made me that much more determined to NEVER go back and that after 8 years on the streets still... Keep your head up dude and stay safe

    I'm a female with mental health issues (abiet not any psychosis but bi-polar and anger issues which of course was harder to deal with in jail) n I was in OCJ high security jail in Orange County n got into it a few times with girls for various reasons. I'm surprised it didn't end up like this tbh because it was bad at times but this one girl we called her mama bear (Her real name is Sandra) helped me out a lot. She was in for murder and ended up getting life but she always looked out for me and I aporeciated that.

    There is no good time in Wisconsin. You do every single day in your sentence. I haven’t been at taycheedah for a few years now, but this sounds like Cindy was doing her time in the max building for her life sentence, and Taylor was an A&E inmate (intake). I have seen lifers do a lot of things there to intakes due to them being frustrated that they keep sending intakes through their rooms every 3-6 months, depending how long intake is. That prison is extremely overpopulated. It used to be that the intakes had their side of the max building, max custody inmates had their side of the building. Since Wisconsin has been flooding that prison with new intakes because they send everybody and their mother to prison-intakes have to go with lifer max custody inmates, or people who can’t act right and get max custody due to behavior. I’ve always thought they need more women’s prisons. It’s a shame that the Wisconsin DOC puts people in this situation. I’ve seen people in that building save bags of poop to throw on others, women jump off the top tier, slit their throats, pee in each other’s hot pots. All sorts of things. Feel sorry for Cindy and that Taylor will be doing the rest of her natural life in prison due to her mental health being swept under the rug. This is generally the case at this prison.

    Wisconsin good time is slim, best you can get is 25% off or 15% off and you have to apply to get it once youve served the correct amount of time up to that point, and both percentages almost always get denied

    • @KevinLaPage-ff6bj
      @KevinLaPage-ff6bj 7 місяців тому

      I thought when they changed the sentencing laws years back you don't get good time anymore. The judge orders a period of confinement then a period of supervision. So if you get 2 and 6 you do all of that 2 and then 6 on parole. I was sentenced under the old law and did mandatory release. I ended up sitting around 5 1/2 on 8.

    • @KevinLaPage-ff6bj
      @KevinLaPage-ff6bj 7 місяців тому

      Yeah I went and looked it up. You don't get good time if it's prison time only county jail. Wisconsin is straight time in prison. " In Wisconsin, good time applies only to county jail sentences and not to prison sentences. This means that if you are sentenced to serve your time in a state prison, good time credits won’t apply and you will not be able to reduce the amount of time served. However, if your sentence is for a county jail term, then good time credit may be available."

    • @LimuEmu420
      @LimuEmu420 7 місяців тому +1

      @@KevinLaPage-ff6bj yes they made a law called truth in sentencing because I think it used to be something pretty lenient like 60% but then that's when it changed to what I stated above, also as I said they almost always deny you the 25% and the 15% I myself and many I know have all been denied when we applied. So in Wisconsin you almost always do 100% but you technically can get that small percentage off if approved.

      @@KevinLaPage-ff6bjI was always under the old law where parole eligibility was after 1/4 of your time and M.R. was 2/3 assuming you didn't lose any good time. When they went to T.I.S. it became 100% of your in time. But I believe they made some changes not long afterwards where depending on what class felony you could petition the court after 75% or 85%. There's no guarantee of it being granted though. I also think they made certain crimes eligible to do a program where they can get some time chopped off.

    Yo death shits crazy I started watching your content years ago. I started watching prior to going to prison browsing you tube “ how to survive in prison “ so on …. Started watching your videos before I got sentenced. Believe it or not but cause of your videos I learned a lot prior to going. Such as don’t look in cells Be last in line for chow on your first day. Did my 2 1/2 year ripp and the genre blew up. I did my time up here in Wisconsin shits different than what I hear about other prisons yet similar. When I got out of reception and got to my joint joint my first celly shit the only celly I had for my lil rip. Was down since 1984 for killing his wife and daughter Bro was nuts but had hell of stories

    I dont have much prison or jail experience but one time I got arrested for a failure to appear and remember a guy in the jail who was normal the first day begin to get really odd as time went on, by 2nd day he was putting pieces of rice i think it was in the toilet and pulling them back out and saying they will determine who the chosen one is. I'm pretty sure this was because he hadn't medicated that caused this. It messes with your own mind a little when your stuck in a cell with someone going crazy and just wanted to gtf away from him.

    I believe Wisconsin has truth in sentencing legislation which means offenders must serve at least 85% of their sentence before being considered for community supervision aka parole.
