While I think these are impressive projects, I still feel that hospitals and doctors in smaller parts of the Philippines, safe and functional roads, stable and affordable electricity, as well as clean and accessable water should really make people proud.
The budget is limited for a 6 yrs term, road, Bridge and trains will benefit everyone in terms of Jobs and transporting goods, I really hope the government look for a cheaper energy source and affordable housing for Informal settlers.

I would make it mandatory for students/commuters within 10 km or so to use bicycles. If they implement this from now on. Infrastructure etc can be adjusted to it. We did this in bicycle city of the world: Groningen. Universitiestowns like Dumaguete are very suitable for this, together with lots of other provinces

These are awesome and really huge development for the Philippines. I just wonder what are the plans on southern and northern part. All projects mentioned only include NCR, central Luzon, and upper to middle part of visayas. I guess, the current administration needs to excise the potential of remote places in the Philippines. that would boost progress for everyone as well. NCR is already way congested. Yes, these projects may be promising but it will place a massive stress on a focused region.

Real progress is ensuring the benefit is experienced by all Filipinos. So much emphasis in Luzon when infrastructure should be disbursed to more regional areas. There should also be a balance between transport, health and education - not to mention affordable housing! Some of these are vanity projects that I am certain will fail to deliver.
Some of these projects are very ambitious. Cross your fingers that some won't fail but we all know when Government is involved, funds will be "allocated" accordingly and more funds will be needed to complete the project.
These projects will not be in vain as you believed it to be. These are the most needed projects for this country....infrastructure to benefit the people for access and mobility to other provinces to transport their products and other business transactions for faster improvement in their respective localities in the provinces and the nation as a whole.

Marcos isn’t paying for any of these so there’s a good chance it’s funded by China which will further influence Philippine politics and put you all in debt for generations!
The subway in Makati Area is already starting under construction. Also the New Philippines Bulacan Airport (will be biggest in South East Asia and its reclamation is already starting.

We need to improve our electricity resource first. We need continuous supply and less interruptions. Adding all these will make it more problematic. Put solar panels first to increase supply and stabilization before adding more consumers. Not to mention our internet demands, we need uninterrupted connections to catch up with the modern world. I would make it mandatory for students/commuters within 10 km or so to use bicycles. If they implement this from now on. Infrastructure etc can be adjusted to it. We did this in bicycle city of the world: Groningen. Universitiestowns like Dumaguete are very suitable for this, together with lots of other provinces
I wish we could see more infrastructure developments in the Visayan and Mindanao areas as well..
@@CajunDave79 well lots of islands have only one coastal highway so to say and often mountain. That makes it also difficult beside the bigger ones ofcourse. But it's a good idea to reduce motorized vehicles in many ways. And cycling is healthy as well...but needs lots of time to implement

Just like older cities in PH they were not built for modern times and space is limited...as cars did take over.

These are awesome and really huge development for the Philippines. I just wonder what are the plans on southern and northern part. All projects mentioned only include NCR, central Luzon, and upper to middle part of visayas. I guess, the current administration needs to excise the potential of remote places in the Philippines. that would boost progress for everyone as well. NCR is already way congested. Yes, these projects may be promising but it will place a massive stress on a focused region.

Real progress is ensuring the benefit is experienced by all Filipinos. So much emphasis in Luzon when infrastructure should be disbursed to more regional areas. There should also be a balance between transport, health and education - not to mention affordable housing! Some of these are vanity projects that I am certain will fail to deliver.
Some of these projects are very ambitious. Cross your fingers that some won't fail but we all know when Government is involved, funds will be "allocated" accordingly and more funds will be needed to complete the project.
These projects will not be in vain as you believed it to be. These are the most needed projects for this country....infrastructure to benefit the people for access and mobility to other provinces to transport their products and other business transactions for faster improvement in their respective localities in the provinces and the nation as a whole.
Facts everything happens in Manila and leaves the rest of the country untouched and falling apart.
@@thitzgo8239 no it won’t. it will benefit only developers and targeted for the wealthy. Those connecting infrastructure will be excessively tolled and no one will be able to sustain it. Marcos isn’t paying for any of these so there’s a good chance it’s funded by China which will further influence Philippine politics and put you all in debt for generations!
