Thanks, Mike, this is very helpful. I am just getting into wargaming and was already planning to buy one or two of yours, so this gave me a good look at my choices. -Greg
I have all of these! I really like the Napoleonics one, mostly because each battle features both perspectives. This is a minor upside for most people but it's just one of those personal things that makes me feel that the game is "complete". Obviously not all war games can feature both sides due to political reasons, but if I see another "Battles" game that has both sides playable, it would make me happy
Highly recommend Fields of Normandy XL! It’s the third evolution of a very engaging and challenging system that has infinite replayability given the way the AI works with initially hidden units, etc.(FoN and FoN being the earlier two iterations of the system)
I have all your WW2 titles, money well spent. Mine are printed out at my usual professional printer and I have them in a rather impressive spiral bound set up. I have put all the game pieces on foam core board. In hindsight I currently prefer a dual layer card stock approach (foam core is a nightmare to cut in small pieces).
I jave Battles for Medieval Britian and FoN 1. Great games and this video will help me pick out my next couple. Love bringing these on my travels. I have a little chit box. I print and cut out pieces and add a few dice and I can go anywhere! Also Mike I would love a zombie game of aome sort, you mentioned it and now I'm wanting it!
Hi Mike, hope you get to read this. I have almost all of your books, and try to keep up to date with editions. Fields of Normandy XL, for example, is the third rendition. Are there any other titles where graphics, counters etc, have been improved? Keep up the awesome work!
Hi Paul - I answered this also on another of your comments on a different video, but just in case you don't see that, here's my answer again: Thanks! There are two different things here. Firstly, the Fields of Normandy games are all different but based on a similar game system, with each getting more complex. Similarly, my two 'Rifle Squad' games use the same basic game system but are different games (different setting, maps etc). Secondly, I discovered a new software package a few months ago and I have systematically been updating the map art in most of my games (including all the FoN games). They are not new editions or sequels or anything, just improved graphically. You can see which I have updated in this way by searching for the game on Amazon and looking at the game cover, which will give you a picture of the new map art in those I have updated. I hope that helps. Cheers, Mike
Do you or would you have any plans to make a Coral Sea style game for the battles of Eastern Solomons 4:44 or Santa Cruz? As a person who is a 40 plus year war gamer who recent become severely visually disabled. I have found that the only games I can still play are Coral Sea and Bismarck. I would very much like to see naval war games that represent other carrier battles in the Pacific theatre. Thank you for your time and for the great games.
@@w.osterberg9385 Possibly. I have to say the scale of those battles makes the book format challenging one. Also, my knowledge of sea battles and the tactics used is limited. I would never say never though...

Mike are you willing to share your top five best sellers? Just curious. Love your games. I have eight, favouring war themed. I particularly love the LRRP system.
@@philipnantais6808 It’s tricky because some have been out for much longer than others. I can say that this month so far my top 5 sellers are Lone Sherman, Fields of Normandy, Battles of Kursk, battles of Napoleonic Europe and LRRP. Cheers
You will find them on Amazon in hard copy format, and on WarGameVault.com, a download site. Lone Sherman is also available on Lulu.com as a coil bound version. Thanks. Mike
Hi. My Spanish interpreter is busy with other work, but I do have a Spanish publisher who is in the process of translating Battles of Napoleonic Europe. This will be published by the company which is interpreting it in a few months' time so keep a look out for that one. Hopefully others will follow. Thanks. Mike
The thing is, that would require 22 links to every Amazon site (about 12). It's far easier just to go to your favourite Amazon site and search Mike Lambo. I'll get to it I'm sure!
The YT algo gods gave me this vid and immediately got Adv Squad Leader nostalgia vibes, going to Amazon to do some shopping now!
I own them all and each one is different, but challenging, in its own unique way. I look forward to the next 22 Mike!
Few designers have put out such quantity and, more importantly, such quality games.

Battle of Midway would be awesome too!!!

Naval battles would be great! Jutland, Midway, Coral Sea, Leyte Gulf or even Salamis (love me some Greek Triremes)
I would certainly like to do a sea battle game but the scale makes it difficult in book format. I’ll keep thinking!

Maybe do something along the lines of GW Battlecars?
Just a thought...
