Strained it using cloth. Have kept powder with some water and use it as body scrub. Instead of throwing away nutritional powder you could even use it for plants as fertilizer.

Yes.always thanku for this Shampoo Recepie. Previously use to make shikekai powder, there were flour mills which grinded shikekai, reetha etc. But now a days these have vanished.we don't get grinded in big cities. So had to turn to Ready-made Shampoo, which don't like, yes it's aroma is really good, but harmful for hair.😢.Have brought shikekai+reetha, now can make liquid shampoo as suggested. Will give it a try.why doesn't that remain without refrigeration? Thanku once again.
Thanks a lot again akka! I get so excited seeing your videos😄 I've prepared a batch with 32 soapnuts and other ingredients in ratio mentioned as per video so it should last me for around 6-8 washes if liquid remains good.. And those who have a question that whether this reetha shampoo clears oil from your heavy oiling? Yes it does.. just that you've got to wash it the right way.. how? You'll need to use the soapnut shampoo twice - when using it for the first time don't wet your hair - work the shampoo on your oiled hair that's dry and gently massage for 2 minutes and let it stay for 6-7 minutes minimum.. wash your hair and then use shampoo for the 2nd time - this is when you'll see a lather and it'll mean that your head is clear of the oil and dirt Also, don't be afraid or skeptical that your hair feels tangled or rigid to touch when using this reetha shampoo.. it's very normal and you'll get used to it as it's just your hair and scalp getting cleaned For the people that feel reetha shampoo makes their hair frizzy, you can try to not use the reetha shampoo on ends directly, just use it on scalp and work it all the way down to your ends.. also increase the amount of fenugreek - it will do wonders!

Hello Ma'am, I wanted to make the shampoo but am unable to get Shikakai, Ritha and Dry Amla in original form (outside India) only powdered. Could you advise what to do then? I have powdered Shikakai, Ritha, Amla and Methi Seeds. Can we made shampoo with them?
Hi mam Thank you for the very useful video. I have a doubt. Do I need to remove seeds from the Shikakai while making hair wash powder? Please let me know.
Hello I recently came to see your videos. Your thoughts about nature friendly products and being responsible is so awesome. I have a doubt can you take some time to reply me. Can we add bioenzyme as preservative to the shampoo prepared with reeta, amla, shikakai and fenugreek. I really liked the formula but I’m a busy mom so wants to store it in long term use. Can we use bio enzymes as preservative ma’am.
Same here....I prepare my shampoo like this only which I hv to keep in fridge. But want to knw if I can prepare it in large quantity and store outside.
Soapnut water has to be refrigerated. If mixed with citric bio enzymes, it need not be refrigerated. For shampoo, you can mix 15-25 % of citric bio enzyme to soapnut water. In that case, you need not refrigerate. It can be kept at room temperature for 2-3 months. Use it within that period and make fresh batch.
Wow! Most needed video at this time! Found it very useful! Thank you mam! While making shampoo can we remove the seeds of the soap nut before boiling even? Do we get dry amla seeds at Country shops? Kindly reply mam!
I have been looking into lot of natural ways to condition my hair and i find this video to be most helpful. I just had one question. In the last step Can i use brown rice water instead of white rice. Does that make any difference. Appreciate any response.
Mam I will definitely try making this shampoo as I have severe hair fall.. I just wanted to know what is rice starch.. it’s the drained water from rice we cook..? and how to use it with shampoo….does this shampoo have any side effects if goes in the eyes..?
Yes, rice starch is the excess water drained from cooked rice. This shampoo burns if it goes into the eyes. So be cautious. Do not use for children. Just massage the shampoo in your hair n scalp n wash it off. As this shampoo has drying effect for some, use rice starch as a conditioner.
This liquid shampoo stays good for 15-20 days or even a month in the fridge . The herbal powder keeps well at room temperature for 1 year. Use the shampoo with rice starch if you feel that your hair is dry after using it.

Can we make shampoo 🧴 with bioengyme,
Or in this process of making shampoo add bioengyme when filling in bottle as preservative?
Fantastic! Can neem oil be used Instead of the leafs? Just in case I can not find the leafs.
You can skip neem leaves. Do not use neem oil as it has a very strong smell.

Karboga Arisi is Babchi Seeds in Hindi
I have been using it from last one month... My scalp gets clean nicely but why my hair strands gets dry and frizzy??
For persons with dry hair or scalp, it is good to use with rice starch water. Reetha and shikkakai has drying effect.
