How to reset ecu or Resetting Electronic Computer Unit after installing SCV or other sensors that needs to be friendly with your computer reason why after installing problem doesnt go away because the computer has to learn the new electronic device to function well and that is restting it. Do this for basic diy after installing electronic parts. Hope this helps. Done this after replacing my SCV suction control valve which controls fuel. when you have iddling issues ex. the engine stops when parked or idling, engine shakes when stepping on gas, engine dies when doing a turn or at a stop light. that makes SCV the problem in most cases,, First just clean it up then ecu reset if it didnt work get a new scv the do ecu reset and go.. drive safe everyone!

Yes so that your ecu can communicate new sensors properly it will help them to read and register new parts specially electronic
