I adopted labmix ..
Owner died in Corona pandemic. He was so isolated and separation anxiety took his toll and was weak. Today after one year he is happy puppy, strong healthy and spirited to meet people and whole world. Loves feeding other dogs, infact points spots weak dogs and asks me to feed it.
The snot on his nose from being cold really got me like thats messed up. Though he is so adorable what a strong spirit
I'm so glad the police officers saved him...they were very kind-hearted, and I'm so glad he found a forever loving home!

All puppies shiver like that to develop their shiver reflex it's not developed when they're born so they develop it in their early life he wasn't cold

I don't think you should boldly claim "he wasn't cold" as if it's a fact when we have no idea which reason it is. At that point in time from the video, going based off the location and what we saw, I think he's shivering because of the cold like the cops assumed, but I guess it all comes down to perspective, and I respect yours
I think what he meant was that if he wasn't shivering despite the cold, that would mean hypothermia had set in and he wouldn't have survived.

Hats off to these cops, it breaks my heart that people can just throw their pets out and not feel a damn thing. If you don’t want animal try to find a good home or give it to a no kill shelter.

Even worse those who kill them for fun. A friend of my mother had one of her dogs poisoned, maybe people who hate dogs, maybe thiefs trying to kill dogs to rob the house later. Both dogs where shelter dogs that were adopted and she was devastated. Dogs give you their souls asking for nothing, there is a saying where I'm from that says "those who not treat good the animals, do not treat good other people either".

His cries broke my heart and literally brought tears to my eyes.All involved with this entire situation,the officers who found him,the vet and all of the nurses and technicians who cared for him and the officer and her family who gave him a safe and loving home are all heroes.

That's the first thing I thought about. I volunteer at local animal shelters and have seen this too many times. Especially when they're that young. So glad this baby was rescued and found his furever home. 💙

Wtf you don't know the situation. Some animals who have the babies outside do not abandon them. Sometimes they just get separated on accident or the parent goes and looks for food and gets hurt or captured . It's a million reason that could've separated this baby from her mother. For all we know her momma was looking for him and he got lost and cold so he had under that bridge smh.

My pup Getty had ears just like that! He looked like scrappy do. People were always commenting on ears. They still have a mind of their own.

That is the issue with majority of foolish idiots who call themselves 'humans'. Leaving behind such cuties because of stupid reasons. Can't take care of them, just don't get them. SIMPLE. There should be a law wherein they should not be allowed to get a pet for lifetime.
I found my current dog on the side of the highway, just sitting there all calm just watching traffic waiting for her ride to come back.
4 years and 70 pounds later she no longer watches the road.

Man I just hate to see animals left out in the extreme cold unfortunately many leave Thier dogs outside no matter how bad it gets! Even dogs that you don't think get cold do more often than folks realize especially an older dog or cat. 🙏

He has a bath twice a week (in gentle wool-wash) so he can live inside - and has always slept on our bed! I bought 3x covers to go over my expensive linens, and I don't mind when they need replacing. He's super-smart because he's with us all the time - everywhere we go, even to work. He doesn't know anything but love - and socialising him from day one with other animals was a great bonus because he just loves to play with other puppers, and he likes cats, ducks, pigs, cows horses, and peacocks.. He has never hurt ANYONE! He's just turned 12,-

My daughter found a shivering puppy at a local park that’s surrounded by forest. When she saw it she kneeled down to see if it would come to her and it jumped up into her arms. They’ve been inseparable since. She wasn’t as dangerously cold as this little guy but she’s the most loyal dog I’ve ever known.
I can't express how gorgeous he is ,so glad they rescued him.

That's how I got my Pit Baby. Freezing and wet in a ditch. I could hold him in one hand. He grew to 80 lbs and lived 13 awesome years.
