Glad I found this video. I'm headed to Topsail for vacation in June and was eyeballing the Neuse River to do some kayak fishing for LMB, Striper and now bowfin apparently haha
Niiiice!!! I figured that was a striper you had hooked by the way it was fighting. Suuuurrre was hoping for a 8lb plus bucket mouth for you!!! How about Upper Broad Creek off the Neuse - is that a good spot for largemouth? Heading down there to fish with my son for a few days next month. Just been doing some recon on the NOAA nautical chart and google earth. Its has some deep water and lots of structure in the upper reaches...looks like that area would hold plenteee of bass.
Honestly it all depends on the water your are fishing and the main forage in that particular body of water. Best too ask fishermen that fish your local waters, or surrounding bait shops. Once the water gets above 60 this time of year, the Bass are starting too move up too prespawn or even spawn.
Great Footage! Keep em coming!
Hats off to you big daddy!!!! Good job in that weather.
Thanks, yeah man it was cold. But still a fun day. I only seen two other boats all day.

?? My first February tournament is on Sutton lake any tips in February
Fish along the hot ditch in pool one. And the deep hole in pool 3. Drop shot and swimbaits
Deep cranking with natural shade colors can work well. Needs to run 18-30 foot
@@RiverBassTv thank you
@@RiverBassTv anything schooling around that area ??
@@RiverBassTv what do you charge to show me around the lake ??
