    Learning V Grip is super difficult, and It was a pleasure to introduce Manav to the principle of V grip, something he has never heard of before. How is your V Grip? What is stopping you from learning V Grip? I would love to know.

    Probably the best explanation on V grip that I have seen! I’ve always gone back n forth from v grip to half pan handle because I’d get so much power from pan handle. But now I know to stay firm on the V grip until I adjust and am able to generate power effortlessly!

      Don't give up. I will show Manav many more exercises that you can follow as well to help with the V Grip.

    This is easily the best video explaining the V grip (smash). He shows in slow motion how the racket rotate with you wrist. Most of the videos is showing steps by steps and there is no clear boundary on the movement of the racket along with the wrist rotation.
    Kudos and as an adult who just starts playing badminton, you just earned my sub.
    Thanks!!

    Amazing explanation! Probably the ONLY explanation on UA-cam that goes through finger, wrist and forearm rotation as a WHOLE to generate power AKA the CHOP AND PUNCH. Keep it up!!

      Im glad you like my CHOP and PUNCH system. I think when i do my BWF course next year, I will fail if i use these terms. But people have found them to be easy to understand and easy to visualise. Thats the important part.

      Thank you. I would love to hear people feedback about these training videos. It is one thing to explain to you and talk to the camera. It is something to teach a real person and help them to understand and able to do the exercises.

    Background music is now at its ideal volume imo, thank you for the video like always, coach! I myself just started (trying) to learn the V grip and am having a bit of a hard time as it does feel unusual. As though my fingers aren't meant to be resting in that position. But I am looking forward to mastering it and having better timing with my smashes!

      glad to know about background music. Please get a permanent marker to draw the shape of the V grip on your racket. This way you have a visual guide everytime you look down. I will make more videos on exercises you can do to help with this V grip. Follow Manav journey as I am sure he will struggle alot to adapt with the V grip.

    Nice explanation, the chopping without air resistance was a great way to understand the purpose of the stroke. I'm not sure te background music is needed for these longer vids, but maybe thats just me.

      I know that quite a few people enjoy the relaxing feel of the videos, and I think the music helps alot with that, set the mood. hehehe. not sure. Might try one without video and then do a Pool. I like the polls :)

    Omg my friend was trying to teach me v grip with overhead clear today. I should have watch this video before because I was getting so frustrated not getting any power into the overhead clearing.
    Seems like I should have just practice getting use to v grip first before overhead clearing. Going to watch the next video!

    • @badminton4kids
      @badminton4kids  Місяць тому

      Yeah, you should definitely practice getting comfortable with the V grip before attempting overhead clears. It's a good starting point.

    Thanks for your very detailed Video on V grip, How much time it will take to master the V Grip? I am using the wrong grip for more than 10 years like manav.

    • @badminton4kids
      @badminton4kids  18 днів тому

      to be honest, it will take a while. and the more you practice, even just sitting at home and doing the chopping exercise, the faster you can make the change.
