You teach us how it is perfectly possible to make great images without having the most cutting edge imaging technology. Thank you sir. You make terrific images.
Another fantastic video Rob. Please keep your videos coming. They are getting better and better all the time. You have got a very relaxed teaching style that is so easy to watch. I have just bought myself a mint condition Pen F for $700.00 and I love it. I will try this flash technique with the Pen F.
Thanks. Congrats on the Pen F! The techniques in this video are for the tg-5. You should watch my older video on flash. ua-cam.com/video/WJhyNtFVoEU/v-deo.html
I do not have an off camera flash and don't own a TG-5 (yet), but this video was very useful to me because I am struggling with the on camera flash settings. Ellie is adorable!
Thanks so much for the flash video! Have been struggling with off camera flash for sometime with limited success. Think this will be a terrific help. Have Flashpoint which I think is a "cousin" to Godox. Anyway, thank you and would love to see more flash demos. Ellie is a great model!
Snoot and lens protection in one...! Simple, rugged and effective. Helps in taking more pictures, and therefore better and better. Great video Rob, easy to follow...! (PS: SuperMoon on the 19th...!)
Ha...! Then we will get a video from you: How to Freeze in the snow and "Freeze" snow, with off camera flash...! or How to "Freeze" snowflakes...! Matthev Wood has an interresting macro video, where he also shows stacking and bracketing: ua-cam.com/video/VVJFtS2VoeU/v-deo.html
Hi Rob.Excelent as usual.Just a note.I am using the 4/3 9-18mm(non micro) olympus lens on my OMD EM10 MK2 with a adaptor.Images really crisp and sharp.Only done some landscapes but plan to do star/star trails also.Have you got any experience with this spesific lens or what is your opinion on the lens. The reviews on it was very good at the time. Its slightly bigger and slower than the micro 4/3 lens but I pick it up for less than 2 thirds of the price of the micro 4/3 lens.
Another great tutorial Rob, I love the image that you posted on instagram, I wanted to ask a question, have you ever shot a tutorial on how to use the GPS function via my S9 Android phone for tagging the location whilst shooting? I'm only asking as I'm going on Vacation to Thailand in about 10 days and would like to geotag my images but I'm a little unsure how to do this, I use an Olympus OM-D E-M1 MKII & Samsung S9 Android phone.
I never do this myself so can't comment right now. I can rarely get my phone to connect (galaxy s5). What I used to do was use the google tracker app, then convert and upload the geo data from the app into lightroom. Based on the timecode, the lightroom would sync the pictures to location. It was an awkward process, but worked.
Does your flash have an optical remote trigger? If so, you can check this video out. It's more appropriate for those cameras. ua-cam.com/video/WJhyNtFVoEU/v-deo.html and this one for fun ua-cam.com/video/iwOD_wcHTV4/v-deo.html

Thanks. Yes, with some basic photo skills you can get great results from almost any camera.

Great video Elly and Rob. I must say Elly is a great assistant. Also I’m interested in more vlogs about flash and Olympus.
Thanks. Will make some more as weather permits. Flash is more interesting outdoors!
Thanks for taking the time and trouble with this subject rob. I suffer with the flash so these help greatly.
Thank you! What camera are you using? I have another flash video you might want to check out.
Brilliant... again. Thanks for sharing your expertise and passion 😊
Thank you!

As always a great video.
Thank you!
Hi Rob! Nice video, and let me say that you have a great model there 😂
Thank you! She doesn't listen to my suggestions though.
Hi i just encountered you channel a few day's ago, great content 👍🏻.
Did you do a review or best settings video for the Tg5? I couldn't find it :( .
Hi. I haven't done a video for the TG5 Video features. However, the C-AF autofocus is a bit frustrating. But for the most part, it works well enough.

How do you change the focus point without having to go into the menu? Thanks
I figured it out. Gotta read the manual again.
👍
Hi. I have the Olympus em 1 mk2 and pen f

Poor doggie, now she can’t see
She has such a strong hunter instinct, she probably wanted to chase the white spots.
